BEST COATING EVER
best coating on the market. my customers love me for it and refer me constantly. very easy to apply if youre a beginner. match this with gyeon wet coat every 2 month-ish and enjoy a longer lasting coating and hydrophobic properties that feel amazing to look at!

This stuff is great
Make sure you order the 50ml size as the 30ml won't quite cover a KIA Stinger. Product goes on smoothly and polishes like a dream. Puts a very slick and glossy film on the car.

Pro Level Results
Pro Detailer here with 15 years experience, I have to say this is my favorite ceramic coating. Has beautiful candy gloss and is very good at water spot/ bug etching prevention. I coated my wife’s Tahoe before a 14 hour road trip through the mountains and our post trip wash was simply a breeze. Gyeon hit it out of the park with this coating , just follow the directions and you can’t go wrong.

A review a full year *after* application...
TLDR: Great coating; one star removed for durabilityI applied a single layer of Pure Evo on my new car in July 2023 and here I am in August 2024 to provide the following review.Small background: I have been detailing my various family cars for nearly 25 years. I am not a professional detailer but I can easily do most detailing-related activities without issues. Pure Evo is my first experience with a more recent ceramic coating *but* I have used Optimum Opti-Coat (non-Pro) numerous times over the past decade. This car is daily-driven and parked in a parking garage during the day and under a car port at night.Prep: The car was brand-new and the paint was visually in perfect condition. Regardless, I washed, clayed, polished with Menzerna PO85RD, and did a final wipedown with Gyeon Prep (pink bottle). IMO, the surface was as ready as it will ever be.Application: I used the supplied microfiber applicator - It worked but it's very small. I prefer/recommend going with a small foam block wrapped with a microsuede square if possible. Applying the coating was very easy as it spreads well and evenly. There's no need to "work" it into the paint. I simply wiped it on via cross-hatched pattern. For my small car, I used ~20mL of product.Removal: Gyeon touts 30 seconds up to 10 minutes to remove the applied layer. That's a very forgiving timeframe. In my hot Texas weather (even in the shade), I applied the coating to one section at a time (door, fender, hood, roof, trunk, etc) and then would go back to previous section to remove. Overall, removal was fairly easy. There was a little bit of stickiness but nothing worrisome. I used one towel for initial levelling/removal and then another towel for a final wipedown. Do not be stingy with towels. I used 8 towels overall for removal. One interesting note is that post-removal slickness is very low. The surface is not sticky by any means but there's minimal glide when you run your finger/towel across. Personally, slickness is somewhat overrated so it did not bother me.Looks: The initial after-removal appearance was nice but nothing special. This is not surprising at all. Most products need some curing time for appearance to ramp up and bonding to settle in. A week later, I was extremely happy with how it turned out. The coating visually adds that hard candy, highly reflective, look to the paint as if there is a super thick layer of clear coat on top of the color. Looks are subjective but if this is what you are going for then Pure Evo delivers.Durability/Maintenance: Water hydrophobicity was excellent and consistent for about 10 months. Water beads flying off the paint leaving a clean surface. I wash monthly with a ph-neutral soap, use a blower to dry, followed by a wipedown with Gyeon Ceramic Detailer. Every 2-3 months, I would spray/rinse with Gyeon Wet Coat. However, I have noticed over the past 2 months that several sections (hood, roof, trunk, bottom panels) have transitioned to quick-sheeting. I decon'ed/de-clogged with an alkaline soap followed by an acidic soap. Hydrophobicity increased slightly but those impacted panels are still quick-sheeting. Gyeon advertises up to 36 months durability for garage queens. I think I will have appreciable durability and protection for 18 months but I believe 24 months is just a little too far.Overall: I have to take a star away due to durability. I understand that 18 months is a long time and my expectations might be too high but technology is moving forward pretty quickly. There are spray on/wipe-off products that last nearly a full year (often times more). If you wash your car monthly or even every few months then these alternatives may be all you need (easier to apply and much cheaper overall). Very reputable competitors have coatings at/near the same price point but with significantly higher durability claims - Whether or not it reaches those claims is a different story though.Next-step for me and other random musings: I purchased Gyeon CanCoat Evo and will apply to the car sometime in the fall when the weather cools down (and as part of a thorough winterizing routine). Ironically, CanCoat falls into that spray-on/wipe-off category that could be a valid alternative to its Pure Evo brother. I still have ~30mL of Pure Evo left. I vacuum-packed via a Foodsaver appliance and stuck it in the door of my fridge. It still looks just like the day I bought it with zero crystallization. I will apply that to my wife's SUV daily driver in the fall.

don't over apply
super duper gloss! very easy to buff off and work with no matter how long you wait to flash. I've coated over 10 cats with this Pure Evo line. I've used them all MOHS is great too but the shine from Pure really stands out far better. the great thing with the Pure is the ability to level whenever you want no rush. just apply to a few panels at normal speed then go back to the 1st panel and buff off all panels in the same order. always buff a second time with another color final wipe towel to ensure you get all the coating leveled down. I recently did a new red Ferrari with this and the c owner said everyone who looks at it drools and asks what he did to it. PURE EVO! instructions say put a thick layer but it doesn't v matter just apply enough to have full even coverage. I've done 2 cars with a 30 mil just literally a 6 or 7 droplets on applicator per panel after priming the applicator. this stuff is very hydrophobic and shiny sickness is good but I don't care about sickness. that's what the toppers are for when doing maintenance washes. One of the best consumer coatings I use.. and recommend as a detailer if people ask me. do not hesitate to order also I suggest getting the 50 mil so you can coat the glass and wheels and maybe another car too. good luck.

Beads well
The media could not be loaded. Easy to apply.Clean > decontaminate > polish > apply (let flash for ~10 min > buff off with microfiber towel. This was the result after 48 hours of application and 3 drives totaling 45 miles.

Lots of Hazing
Left extreme hazing after following instructions to the tee.I washed my car 2 times with the 2 bucket method and decontaminated every surface. I then applied a thin coat with the applicator pad and waited 8 minutes before wipe off. Upon wipe off the product was very thick and left an oily and very sticky coat. Even after buffing for 10 minutes there is still no change. I had to hire a professional to re polish my car and remove the hazing. Cost me $250 for this mobile service and the damage to my paint. I advise not using this if youre new to ceramic coatings.
