gb Lufta Sleeper Playard, Mink

Ordered one for a daughter in law through somewhere else and paid more. She loved it. Then came time to get my other daughter in law one. Got it just in time for her shower. Then I decided that I should just get one for my house for the grand kids. Love it! Makes it so easy to change them at a nice level with what you need close at hand. You have the two levels and the upper one makes a great place for nap time (the platform is springy and my grandson loves that). Also a safe place to him to be when I need to attend to other things in the house. Later on it will be easy to drop it down to provide for a safer place for him once he is standing. Not planning on folding this up and moving it here or there, but I don't think that would be much trouble. This would be great for those who have a two level house and need a place for a lower level away from the main sleeping area. Mine will get lots of use and the price is great!

I love this pack and play. Our boy is 2, and loves to get out of the normal pack and plays. We needed to find something for home and sleeping safely in our 5th wheel. This is perfect. Love the tall sides!!I just wish there were more sheets available for it.

Got this as a gift. Compared it to the Pack and Play Newborn Napperstation we had bought used. Initial assembly took a little bit to figure out and I complained at first. Then we assembled the P&P. The Lufta won. The P&P uses a mattress pad that isn't cleanable and you wrap it around the frame and then put that in the bag. It also uses 4 rods in pockets for the bassinet. So 4 pieces to insert and remove each time and there is no meaningful place to put the rods for storage. The Lufta uses an innovative screw type tensioning system for the bottom platform. Way quicker and easier than inserting 4 metal rods for support. The changing station on the Lufta is easy to setup, tear down, and install. The storage bag is easily big enough to hold everything without having to pack it just right. I found it much quicker to setup, teardown, and bag it than the P&P. The sheet is proprietary, but we're going to just use regular fitted crib sheets if we need to. The floor section is also removable so you can hand wash it. P&P floor covering is not removable.

I own several gb strollers and love the quality, value and ease of use. I decided to give this 3 in one playard a try. Putting the playard together took 45 minutes. The instructions are not in logical order (bassinet use, playard use, then toddler cot use assembly instructions). With the frustrating assembly in mind, I can only imagine how annoying travel would be with this item.The biggest issue is that the playard only comes with one sheet. It is a very unique sheet with cut outs at the corners to accommodate the unique mattress that comes with the playard. The mattress is more of a thin but sturdy mesh hammock. I haven't found any compatible sheets, mattress protector or single sheet purchase options from gb. This means every time the baby has a blowout day or night, I will have to wash the one sheet and mattress itself (hang dry only) and not have the playard availiable for use during that time. This is truly a deal breaker, which will likely result in return. I hope GB replies with options for sheet purchase.

Very nice

This was not the one we registered for, but we got it as a gift, which is fine. Given the price, I assumed it would be nicer than the one we registered for. Yes and no. It is very sturdy and well built. Once you get the hang of how it works, it’s easy to set up and take down. It’s kind of on the big side for traveling, but not outlandish. We thought the bassinet height would be great to use in our bedroom with our newborn. Again, yes and no. Our baby refused to sleep on this mattress. We finally discovered that it was due to it being mesh. It was very cold, even with a swaddle. It’s stretched very tight, so it’s extra springy. He hated it. We actually have a mini crib instead of a full size, so we ended up putting his regular mattress in the play pen (I know, I know) and that worked until he was old enough to be in his room. Since then, we’ve taken 4 trips where we needed a play pen. Taking the mattress obviously isn’t an option when traveling. Again, even though he is much older, he still won’t sleep on the mesh. After our last trip with it where we were up all night with a toddler that couldn’t sleep, my husband and I decided we would never use this play pen again.

My husband and I got this packnplay for our little girl.PROS:It’s very versatile. it’s super easy to clean. I know some people say it’s hard to assemble, but I don’t see that. The cot can be a little awkward but not impossible like some think. It’s great for warm weather. LOVE THE COT USE BY ITSELFCONS:The cot is mesh so it can be a bit cold. But that’s also why it’s nice for a sweaty baby and hot weather.The cot can be awkward to reassemble.Over all I have enjoyed this pack n play. I do with the bassinet weight limit was a bit more. But other than that we love it!
