Transformation
I ordered this in January and put together two weeks before COVID-19 kicked in and timing is everything. I love this tower and my body has transform because of it.

Can't get a full range of motion
It's an OK cable tower. I expected it to be more heavy-duty than it is based on the quality of their dumbbells. The assembly instructions are pretty bad with low quality black and white pictures that are very pixelated and difficult to see. I had to take the thing apart when I was 3/4 of the way finished because I had one of the posts on backwards (nothing in the instructions said how it should be oriented). My biggest gripe is that it's not tall enough to get a full range of motion with the low pulley. I have to get on my knees to be able to do lateral raises and get a full range of motion; otherwise the weight slide hits the top of the post before my arms are fully extended. If youre space-confined, this works. Otherwise get a dedicated cable machine for cheaper. This is definitely overpriced for the build quality and functionality you get.

Really cool! Great cable tower for home!
Really nice addition to a home gym! I purchased this along with the Ironmaster Quick Lock Dumbbells, Super Bench Pro, Reverse Hyper, quick lock adjustable kettle bell, low row foot plate and two cable tower seats for the cable tower and reverse hyper. I like having the tower and reverse hyper set up separate from the Super Bench and they are always ready to go. Using the optional cable tower seat gives you flexibility with placement near the wall and lets a workout partner use the Super Bench while you are on the cable tower. Also, it's nice during solo workouts to not have to remove and reposition equipment during rest times between sets. I usually finish my workouts with back extensions and face pulls so it's really nice to have them both always set up without having to fiddle with removing a seat for one or the other. I could probably get by with attaching the Super Bench Pro to the tower and it connects to it pretty easily, it's just more convenient to have the tower seat always attached.I will be purchasing some Olympic plates for use with the Tower so that it's easier and quicker to change the amount of weight as compared to changing weight on the adjustable dumbbells. It can be done quickly with the dumbbells, but if you are going between a light dumbbell exercise to a heavy pulldown exercise it can be a bit of a pain to remove or add that much weight on the dumbells. I also plan to get a barbell and trap bar, so I will just use the plates that I get with those.

I love cable tower I was a bit nervous because it was too tall just a few inches to the ceiling but I am able to move place to place

Typical Ironmaster Quality and function
I was surprised to see only one review of this product here so figured I would add my two cents. At this point I am all in with Ironmaster products for my home gym. It started with the bench and some attachments, then the dumbbells and finally the IM 1500 Half Cage and this Cable Tower attachment. Like all Ironmaster products it is of excellent quality and integrates with all of their other products extremely well. It is meant to be an attachment to their incredibly versatile Super Bench and when paired is rock solid. The Good: Fit and finish is excellent. It is solid and when you are using it, feels commercial grade. No hitching or binding on the upper or lower pulley. Essentially the weight carrier is a square metal slider with a hard silicone insert that goes up and down on the support bar with very tight tolerances. Spray it with a little silicone spray and wipe it off every few months and it is smooth as can be. It is very versatile in terms of how you can load it. You can use an included carrier to use your ironmaster dumbbells. This is nice to have if the only weight you own are the dumbbells but is not nearly as efficient when working out as just using plates. Essentially you have to adjust both dumbbells (as you want both sides even) eveytime you want to change weight. It’s workable but tedious. I found I use Olympic plates to load it and it is a breeze. It will also accept 1 inch plates. Regardless, you have options. It has both an upper and lower pulley so you can do pretty much any exercise you would do in the gym on a lat pull down or low row machine. In addition, with a little creativity you can add a ton of movements to the tower. Unlike a functional trainer with cable pulleys that slide up and down it’s a little more diificult to do cable movements that require the pulley to be at shoulder or chest height but I have found that if I can’t bring the pulley height to me I can bring myself to the pulley by standing on various sides of my plyo box placed at the end of the bench to adjust myself to the height of the upper pulley . I would rather have a full cable crossover for some of this stuff but I just don’t have the room and if you are creative you will be surprised at what you can come up with. The Not so Good: (I won’t say bad) The cost. Clearly this is not your cheapest option but it definitely falls under the “you get what you pay for” category. On top of that you need a few other things. You need the Ironmaster bench which itself it a bit expensive but not for what you are getting. That being said there is a now a seat attachment option (not shown on amazon but available from Ironmaster) that makes this a standalone device. I have just ordered it as I want to just leave this set up all the time instead of attaching it to my bench to use. I would also recommend the foot plate attachment if you want to do heavy low rows. You can do without but it certainly adds stability. The last thing that I will comment on affects this product but is not unique in the category of home cable machines. It is range of motion issues. I’m 6’1” and have no issues with limited range of motion on the specific exercises this machine was designed to do. Pull downs and rows. Where you can run into issues is when you are trying to get more creative and doing lateral raises and chest crosses from the high pulley etc. The issue is the height of the tower and is not a unique issue to this unit. Most home units are shorter than commercial units so that they can fit under 8 foot ceilings. It’s just an unavoidable design choice for home equipment. They do include a chain in order to add on some length at the connections and I have found this alleviates many of my issues but still bump into it once in a while. Anyhow, this is not unique to this unit.In conclusion I am very happy with this purchase and Ironmaster is a great company to deal with and has a great warranty. It’s not going to replace a true functional trainer cable cross machine but you can certainly do more than just pull downs and rows if you think outside the box. I can’t say enough good about Ironmaster In general, and this product has more than met my expectations even at the higher price point.

Perfect for you compact/small home gym
Worth every penny "IF YOU OWN THE IRONMASTER SUPERBENCH". Great attachment, so simple to use and attach to your super bench. Great piece along side all the other Ironmater products for someone looking to set up a home gym in a small room. Very versatile in that nature.
