I purchased these Boomgood machinist squares not quite sure what the quality would be. Well, I'll cut to the chase and tell you they are fantastic, accurate and an overall solid tool.They come in their own plastic cases for storage and safekeeping. The squares themselves are impressive considering their overall cost. Good solid metal, excellent machining with no burrs. They are truly 90 squares, and super easy to place against a piece of wood or metal to mark for an accurate cut or other measuring. It's generally not easy to get excited about squares, but these are excellent quality at a good price--currently $28.99 here on Amazon.These are such good quality that I will be ordering another set to make sure I have another set in my metal working tool box.If you're looking for a nice set of squares, I would highly recommend these 5-star items.

I've owned machinist's squares before. Problem was, I kept misplacing them and losing track of them. Also, not sure if they're still accurate after sitting in a drawer/on my desk/etc.These have a nice little storage case for each square, keeping them clean and safe from being bumped around. The cases also make it easier to find them when I need them. (As long as I remember to put them back in their cases!)

good quality and a very good price

The squares came in well packaged. But there were a number of scratches on three of them. The 90 degree angle was right on for three of them. But the 80mm by 50mm square was off by 0.2 degrees. The reason I bought them was to get a known perfect square angle for the woodworking I do. I can''t count on the little one for this, but the other three are good.

I use this for my wood shop to keep my tools square. There accurate enough for my needs.

well made

Precision? They're not even close to being square. I placed one of the smaller squares inside the largest one to check and there was a huge gap. Not a hair width, but about 1/16 inch at one end.The blue cases are very poor quality. Like Dollar Store rejects.

I carefully checked all four squares to determine whether they were truly square, and they are! Both the inside and the outside edge of all four are perfectly square. A great buy at an excellent price.
