Why did you pick this product vs others?:The corn cob stripper worked so well! It took no time at all to strip the corn off of 24 cobs. I wish I had found this tool years ago!

The curved blade swivels and it need not. Its difficult to get under the kernels because once you insert it for the first few, the blade lifts up and only cuts the tops off the kernels. So it's either take a 2nd pass every time, and make creamed corn, or leave the hald-kernals behind. Varying pressure doesn't change the outcome. Also rinse it as soon as you're done because the corn hardens on it and there are tiny sections under the blade that are impossible to clean, even with a toothpick. It's a good idea but the design needs a little more work.

I bought corn shucking tool. I thought it was a great item. I tried using it but noticed it did not release the whole corn kernel. Instead it removed about half of the corn kernel. I was hoping it would work.

The item works great, but for some reason, I thought there were two in a package, but I only received one. Was I wrong about this?

This is definitley not worth buying even if it was free. I made one pass on a fresh ear and it broke. I am not going to get a replacement. Basically it is cheaply made and not worth purchasing. I am just going to stick with the old fashion knife.
