Q: I have been buying Fisher chopped walnuts but the last 2 bags I bought were rancid, do they have a recall? anyone else have this problem?

I have not heard of a recall, nir have I re eived any rancid walnuts. If you received them in this condition, I suggest you call Amazon’s customer service number (888-280-4331). They have been very helpful when I called them with issues. In future, even if your walnuts are fresh when received, it is best to keep them in the freezer because they will keep much longer that way. I eat them right out of the freezer because they do not get hard and have a nice texture.

When I ordered mine, it took a few days because I don't use Prime. But if they offered this, I am sure you can get it the same day.

Q: All nuts are naturally GF. Are these nuts processed in dedicated facilities to insure no gluten cross contamination?

Yes, all nuts are naturally gluten free and these nuts do not have gluten in their recipe. The facility where these products are manufactured do contain other gluten products. Our processes include separating and segregating products to lower the risk of cross contact of gluten and allergens. All of our manufacturing equipment is washed and sanitized in-between production runs. This item is not Certified Gluten Free, however through our testing we have found this product to be less than 20 ppm in traces of gluten.

Good value, always fresh

I go through a bag a month. I love walnuts for the taste and health benefits. I put them in smoothies, yogurt, salads, oatmeal, casseroles and more, so I like that they are already chopped. Price is very competitive compared to smaller supermaret offerings. Always taste fresh. Unchopped might be better for snacking.
