The battery lasts a little over 3 days hiking 12+ hrs a day
The battery lasts a little over 3 days hiking 12+ hrs a day which is why I bought this one. If you wear the H10 chest strap HR monitor this watch will automatically use that rather than the optical monitor as the H10 is more accurate.

Pretty Good
This is a pretty basic fitness watch. The step counter is fairly accurate and it's a pretty good price. It's light on the wrist and doesn't stop me from sleeping. Pretty good companion app for Android.

Works pretty well
I ride my bike often and wanted a monitor that isn't a chest strap. This watch picks up my heart rate very easily and works very well. It has tons of features that I don't use but that's fine, I use it just when I ride. My only complaint is that I have to pair it with my phone literally every time I ride. This is very annoying. I use run keeper on my phone that is mounted to my bars and I like to have the current heart rate on the display. The watch collects lots of data, average, peak etc. and I'll look at that when I get back, I just want to see the current on my phone display. I use tons of blue tooth devices and the only one I have to pair every time I use it is this one. Wish some smart engineer could fix that one issue. Other than that it's a nice product and worth the price.

Water damaged after 3 months despite claim of water proof for 30 meter depth
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do not buy this. It says water proof up to 30 meters. Never went below 6 feet of water yet it received water damage after only 3 months of use. Apparently pushing the buttons when there is even a small amount of water in the crevices can cause water to get into the device. I never once intentionally clicked the buttons when the device was wet so as far as I know it simply failed and let water in. i thought maybe I could speak with customer service and they could send a replacement. Guess not though. There is no way to get on the phone with anyone from the company. $200 down the drain for this POS. Do not buy from Polar, buy from somewhere they will give you the decency to at least speak with you if something like this happens to your watch.

Good watch, just not for me.
Overall i think this is a good watch. It has A LOT of information for your fitness. I returned this item shortly after buy it because (1) the watch face is not very customizable, and (2) the screen is quite small for such a big watch, and (3) annoying to go into "activities" menu to see my step count. Because the watch face is not customizable, it gets annoying to go into "activities" menu every time when I want to see my steps. Again, nothing wrong with the watch. It's more of a personality thing for me. Also, I didn't need all the information that it provides, thus I went for a cheaper option.
