People are always scared to clean their own sensors. Don’t be! I’ve done it for many years and these were great quality and value for money. Easily removed dust and shear on lenses, I’d just watch a YouTube for clarity on how to do it and follow their instructions. Size is fine for full frame I just rotate it and swipe backwards, carefully not to do too many passes!

Why did you choose this product over others?: Quantity of cleaning pads for the price, so best value for money. Dust removal: Using each cleaning pad only once, I needed to use four to completely remove some sticky deposits that got inside the camera body when changing lenses on a windy day. Effectiveness: Sensor now clean and images have no marks due to stuff on the sensor. Longevity: I have sealed the unused cleaning pads and cleaning solvent in storage for future use and hope for great longevity. Value for money: Excellent value for money.

I've had a Sony A6000 for about 5 years before i started to notice a handful of dust spots on the sensor. I tried cleaning the sensor with lens cleaning fluid and a microfiber cloth (same as i use on my lenses) and made the dust on the sensor at least 20 times worse! When i got these APS-C sensor sized swabs i put 2 drops of lens cleaner on one side of a fresh swab near the wiping edge, wiped the sensor in one direction with the wet side of the swab, then wiped in the opposite direction with the wet side of the swab, then did another pass in each direction with the dry side of the swab. After putting a lens back on and taking a test picture of a white monitor I could see 3, maybe 4 dust spots on the sensor instead of the 100 or more spots from my previous cleaning attempt without a properly sized foam swab. Don't know if i'll be able to eliminate the final few dust spots but these swabs are certainly the right tool for the job.

Tailored to fit the APS-C sensor size, these swabs are simplicity itself to use! Instructions are clear and easy to understand, and in use the swabs cleaned my rather dusty A6700 sensor in a single pass. Set the camera to sensor cleaning, remove the lens, 2 drops of liquid to opposite sides of the swab, then a single swipe, with pressure enough on the handle to just start to bend it, and grime is removed. As a bonus, there is sufficient fluid provided to drop onto a microfibre cloth and clean lenses, viewfinder / screen etc. without worrying if the liquid will damage them. Can't be less than 5 stars, can it?

Really good equipment every one should have these easy to use just watch YouTube vids it'll save you a lot of money just be careful and you'll find them essential piece of equipment I deffo recommend 👍

I was a little worried before attempting this. It works though, a little fiddly. I have now done this about a dozen times on different cameras and no problems. Much cheaper than taking into a shop to be cleaned

Il parait qu'il ne faut pas nettoyer le capteur ! Ben je le fais chaque fois que nécessaire. Pour être sur qu'il soit taché, faites une photo d'un mur blanc en posant 2 ou 3 secondes et en bougeant votre appareil. Si on regardant la photo vous voyez des tâches ... c'est qu'elles ne sont pas sur le mur !!!

Je n’avais du nettoyer un capteur d’appareil photo , qui était pleins de traces de doigts ! Le nettoyage a été impeccable grâce à ce kit !

Plötzlich waren Sie da - diese verschwommenen Punkte auf Fotos, die besonders im blauen Himmel oder in einfarbigen Flächen sichtbar wurden, vor allem bei kleiner Blende. Ein genauer Blick aus verschiedenen Richtungen auf den Sensor zeigte: Winzige Partikel saßen da und ließen sich weder durch die automatische Sensor-Reinigung noch durch einen Blasebalg entfernen. Das ist ein Fall für eine Sensor-Reinigung! Dieses Set funktionierte bei mir hervorragend für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Reinigung des Sensors. Ich habe ein paar Tropfen der Reinigungslösung auf einen der mitgelieferten Spatel gegeben, den Sensor damit vorsichtig abgestrichen. Beim ersten Mal musste ich Vorgang wiederholen. Das Ergebnis war eindeutig: Der Sensor ist wieder sauber! Die Flüssigkeit verdunstete sehr schnell. Rückstände konnte ich mit dem bloßen Auge nicht erkennen. Die Spatel sind alle einzeln in Folie verschweißt. So verschmutzen sie nicht bei Lagerung oder Transport. Die Reinigungsflüssigkeit befindet sich in 2 kleinen Schraubverschluss-Flaschen. Spatel und Flasche passen gut in meine Fototasche, so dass ich für die schnelle Reinigung unterwegs alles dabei habe. Für meinen APS-C-Sensor von Sony sind die Spatel etwas zu schmal. Aber das war für mich kein Problem. Einfach 2 Bahnen ziehen. Wenn es - wie bei mir - beim ersten Versuch nicht klappt, empfehle ich einen neuen Spatel zu nehmen, um zu vermeiden, dass man bereits aufgenommenen Schmutz wieder verreibt oder gar damit den Sensor beschädigt. Ich war anfangs skeptisch, ob ich wirklich selbst an den Sensor rangehen sollte. Aber mit etwas Übung geht es wirklich einfach! Jetzt habe ich deutlich weniger Sorgen beim Objektivwechsel bei "Wind und Wetter"! Preis-Leistung passen! Selbst wenn man pro Reinigung 2 oder 3 Spatel benötigt, ist die Menge im Set ausreichend, um mehrmals den Sensor zu reinigen. Ich würde dieses Set wieder kaufen!
