Nostalgia
I used to play this game with my grandma when I was really little. My Lola is in a care home now, and I couldn’t find her original set, so I bought this one as a replacement to put in her room at the facility so anyone who visits can play. It’s picture-perfect - looks almost exactly like the set from my childhood, except the shells seem smaller and more insubstantial (or perhaps, I’ve just grown and they feel smaller as a result). In any case, they sent a few extra pieces so if we do lose a shell or two, we’ve got replacements.

takes back my childhood days…
Very light and pretty to display on living room table. And my spare time, I can even play alone. Playing also while watching TV that way i can relax my eyes and not focus on TV or cell phone all the time. I saw my family playing this game back home, and I’m glad Amazon were able to get this for me❤️

Sungka
Poorly made not worth of buying it. Holes too shallow can’t holds shells well and grabbing them fall off on my hand. The real sungka I used to play when I was little was made of wood and holes are crafted you can dig in inside the holes to grab the shells with out falling off. And we played fast too

Sungka...
The shells were small. Would prefer the shells to be bigger to easily handle them. Aside from that it was ok. Kids having fun playing with us.

My childhood game.
My mom taught me this game when I was a little kids (that's the 70's if you want to know). I played this quite often and bought it for my wife to learn. We have had lots of fun so far. My only complaint is that it seems a little small.

Quality not too good
Fast delivery. Wood inside the 14 small holes is rough. Needed to be sanded before applying the finish. Disappointed in the quality.
