I am so happy the kierig my neice gave me finally broke down. I'm happy to be back to a regular coffee pot and can control the strength of my coffee. This makes my two morning coffees and it's pretty fast. It's not a big pot so I don't drink too much (I used to have 3 or 4 cups) and it doesn't sit there cooking like the big old Mr. Coffee. Saving so much money bc I like weak coffee and pods are too strong. The refillable ones are a big mess. I don't even have to remember to buy filters. It comes with it's own. The cord is nice and short too and it doesn't take up all my counter space. I also don't have to waste time running water through it so I can switch to tea in the evening.

Honestly, what's not to love about this little unit? Just the right size and has a food grade nylon filter so the healthy and beneficial oils in your morning cup are not trapped in paper, but get to where they do good for you. I hooked it up to a timer to have fresh brew as I got up, but it brews so fast I don't bother any more. It's no more or less noisy than other units I've owned. Brews great tasting coffee, but does not have a auto shut off, so I automatically shut it down and rinse it off before drinking my last cup. It's extremely easy to clean.

I like the fact there is only an on/off button and nothing to program. I ran two pots of clean water through it when I first got it, because there was a little bit of what I thought was a chemical smell. It was fine after I ran both pots of water. It is somewhat slow, but if you want coffee made quickly then spend more money. It makes good coffee in my opinion.The only thing I don't like about it is when you open the lid after making a pot of coffee to empty the filter all the condensation on the inside of the lid runs down the back of the coffee maker and onto the counter. Not a deal breaker for me, but be aware of it.

Oddly, this 4-cup coffee maker exactly fills my 24 oz Hydro Flask mug to the same full mark the 6-cup Krupp's it replaced. Using exactly the same beans ground fresh in the same grinder which also replaced a Krupp's dud, the coffee was noticeably better. The glass carafe also pours effortlessly unlike the Krupp's that had to be nursed.It's a very lightweight unit with thin plastic so don't hide behind it if shooting starts. My one wish would be for a lighter rocker switch - it takes two hands to turn it off, one to steady the maker, one to push the switch.I like the coffee, it has a great basket design, nice carafe and it's dirt cheap. I'm happy with my purchase.

This coffee pot died completely after only two weeks. Very disappointing. I had bought about ten bread machines from them and all of those machines worked well ... I was amazed that this began failing very soon after I started using it, refusing to start up at times, until today (Memorial Day, holiday) it completely stopped working no matter what I did, even "removing the scales," which the company had a video regarding, using vinegar. After two weeks? What a waste.

Amazing for price but my only issue is the lid to put the grounds and water in is hard to remove. Otherwise i love it. Also didn't realize this came with a reusable filter, huge bonus
