Great so far, but a few issues with Windows 10 and this unit
This was perfect for my small desk with 2 monitors. I have run into some issues with Windows 10 and this unit so I thought I would post my fixes to help others. Both issues fixed with the same resolution. Also I would highly recommend adding another 8GB of RAM, which is very easy, and you can find videos on YouTube on how to install for those less tech savy.Issue 1: No sound with external speaker plugged inIssue 2: 2nd monitor, won't detect connection via HDMIBoth issues were resolved by downloading the latest driver for the Intel HD Graphics 630. While Windows 10 generally does a good job with drivers, it was using an older driver and when trying to update automatically it would say you are using the correct driver currently.Once the driver is updated your 2nd monitor should detect the connection via HDMI. For the audio issue do a search for sound settings via Cortana. Select your Speakers/Headphones option and click the down arrow next to Set Default and select Default Communications Device (This would not stay as Default until driver was updated)Hope this helps others as this is the only issues I have had.

Listed as New, But sent with another users account already setup. PC never worked.
PC never worked. Seller denied return.-Was originally sent with another users account already setup and password protected, we had to wipe with Win 10 disk-Original hard drive image corrupted so bad we had to get Dell to send a replacement-continual beeps and loud fan noise-now computer will not turn on at all. Issue looks to be due to motherboard, as I’ve tested the rest of the system

power brick
I bought this computer July 2019 and already the power brick is going (power cord). :(UPDATE: I found out the power cord was pulled out a bit from the back of the computer, it wasn't the power cord at all so still good to go with this computer. no other issues

SSD + Compact Size + Many Ports = Win
I almost can't believe what a powerful computer this is for how small it is. I think my Dad said at least 10x that he can't believe how small it is. From my standpoint, if you're looking for something simple and fast that won't take up much space, look no further. Unless you need to have a blu-ray/dvd/cdrom drive on your computer all the time, because it doesn't have that, though you can get USB plug-in blu-ray drive if you only need it on occasion. Price it out, know what your computing needs are. Almost anything you could or would need in excess of this machine you could easily solve with a USB plug-in on the rare times you may need those things. For every day basics this computer is fabulous. I'm so happy with this purchase. This has plenty of ports, it's small and it's fast because of the SSD. It's really quiet too. I would not however recommend it for hard-core gaming, although I do have a game running on it most of the time with no issues whatsoever.

Hardware Issues
I have now had 2 of these units, crash with cannot find hard drive errors several times. We have updated all Dell updates BIOS etc to see if it will correct the error.

Should be fine with this compact unit
Purchased and returned. I bought it as desktop replacement for my work computer. I run Windows 10 and have a Dell UltraSharp U3415W 34-Inch curved display (basically a dual monitor on one physical monitor). The processor wasn't able to handle all of that resolution without having delays in word processing and basic internet navigation.SUMMARY: Single monitor setups with normal resolutions? Should be fine with this compact unit.

Very happy customer!
This is a business grade machine (my last company was migrating to it in the most recent upgrade) that will blow you away. Tiny form factor, absolutely quiet (because of the solid state hard drive) with so much power and speed. Just the restart speed will make you smile every time you turn it on. Because of the small size, you don't have to worry about finding room for the computer. It has plenty of USB ports (USB 3) and supports two monitors (via two different video out ports, but that is not a problem). I paired it with a 4 terabyte external solid state drive https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Backup-Portable-External-STDR4000900/dp/B0196J43TE/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 which was complete overkill since the Optiplex has 240 gig solid state hard drive. But you can never have too much memory. My old laptop is so noisy compared to this one it is not even fair. Very happy customer!

Excellent Micro Computer
From the moment I unpacked this small form computer, it has performed exceptionally. I mounted it to the underside of my desk out of the way and its extremely quiet and small. I never hear a fan or any other noise. Love that it checks for Intel software updates constantly and notifies me. I have now owned it for over 1 year and never had one issue. Is very fast and powers a 34" screen with multiple programs operating simultaneously. I am a small business owner and would recommend this to anyone. Not a gamer here so can't comment on gaming power. This is strictly a workhorse for me.
