First I have to comment on all the reviews that said it was hard to bend, heres a hint, clamp the side and width you wish to bend between to pieces of wood and then gently hammer or roll the edge over to whatever degree you need. Second hint you need to make sure your hands are protected with sturdy leather gloves, not cloth as the ends are sharp and will poke thru cloth gloves. I am using this in the bottom of a charcoal grill to keep the ceramic briquets from falling thru the wide grill bars in the bottom of the BBQ, I dont now how long it will last as the grid gets (color) red hot and i've only done this a few times. But other than this and other than looking for something heavier in wire gauge I am satisfied.

I don't even know what the actual purpose of this product is, but I purchased 2 to use as filtering mesh to create recycled paper bits for an art project. They are a nice big size, extremely sturdy and worked great for my purpose. Even after hours of water exposure you can't tell I even used them. The only downside was that the edges have not been smoothed or filed down and were extremely sharp. I accidentally cut myself 3 times in the process and I'm glad I didn't have any children helping me with this particular project.

I bought this in hopes to be like a netting for a cpu fan I turned into a portable fan powered via USB, I was worried about having the tools to cut it but was able to get past that. And I was able to line up the cut sheets to the fan, the fan has potential to cut probably a finger of and has cut some skin off me before, and I had to do some searching and decided on this. This was perfect, almost too perfect, the net doesn't bend in, atleast not too far that its dangerous, it's very sturdy and strong, the metal sheet didn't hit the fan blades but it does hit like the center of the fan and sometimes makes noises as it grinds against it, but no damage on the sheets end, some scratches on the fan but nothing dangerous, and also the holes in the sheet are so small, I doubt even a baby can fit its finger through it (not that I would try, just a estimation). The on my problem I have now is getting cut by the edges I left out after cutting cause they can go through skin, just gotta be careful and cut the edges off. But still it works perfect for a metal filter or metal net. I can even think of some cosmetic or prop use for leftover parts too. Well worth the purchase.

Arrived quickly and met my needs.

I recently bought a used composter at a salvage store. It was in great condition except for the ventilation holes. They were obviously missing the original screen or mesh which would keep the contents from falling out when you rotated the drum, and keep out vermin looking for a free meal. I only needed two 4" circles of mesh to make the repair, and I wanted something sturdy and rust proof. This sheet of stainless mesh filled the bill. I cut out my 4" circles, used Liquid Nails to adhere them in place, and voila--a now fully usable composter. I didn't use nearly the whole sheet to make my repairs. Who knows what else I'll be able to create or fix with the remainder?
