Excellent and great quality!
Things I’ve learned using this very nice maker: Making a new batch: You really don’t want finely ground coffee grounds. I made that mistake the first time, just using what I had for hot coffee. I highly recommend measuring out your grounds to the recommended amount and use a measuring cup each time to add them. Eyeballing 5/6th full is proving very inconsistent 🤣. I have used room temp water and I’ve used cold water straight from the fridge because of laziness, I don’t notice a difference. I am really only drinking coffee out of necessity though, not to enjoy the taste so there might be others with a more sophisticated palate that feel differently. I use 4+ cups of water and and use a large measuring cup to pour it In. I go over the max line slightly after getting all of the water in and settled (basically as high as I can fill it to still be able to shut the lid without overflowing) and I pour about a cup in, stir with handle of tiny spoon, mash down with spoon part of the spoon (is there a name for that?), pour in another cup and repeat. It can take a couple of minutes to do as the water settles and you push the grounds back in. I go above the max line because even after doing all of this, there were batches that the water was below the max line because things have settled. I need as much coffee as I can get so this is works well. When I do this, I get 4 cups of cold brew, which is three days worth for me. I have let it brew for 12 hours, 18 hours, and 22 hours and like 22 the best. So when I’ve had my second (of 3) day’s cold brew I make a new batch to have ready for day 3 just to be safe. You never know when the kids or your anxiety will keep you up all night and you’ll need a little extra. One thing that will help to have: a tiny metal spoon. I use it to stir (with the handle) and then mash down the grounds after the water has been poured in. I have tried a plastic chop stick and it didn’t work well, I have also tried a butter knife and that was terrible. The tiny spoon works great!. Pouring for consumption: I use a reusable coffee filter to strain the brew out of this container because no matter how big your grounds are, there is a gunk that forms at the bottom that I don’t want to drink. So after it’s done brewing, I pour the entire container into a large measuring cup (the same one I use for the water) THROUGH the strainer, then pour 1 1/4 ish cups into three mason jars. Seal them up and put them in the fridge. You can adjust your portions however you’d like, I just found that 1 cup of cold brew wasn’t quiet enough. Mason jars are your best friend. You can pour your desired amount of cold brew per day directly in to them and refrigerate until you’re ready to drink. Add your water (I didn’t realize you had to do this before making my first batch, but I’ve learned I don’t like the 1:1 ratio as much, so I use 1 1/4 cup cold brew pre-measured in the jar and add 1/2 cup of water) directly into the mason jar and add milk/creamer (you don’t NEEED anything, I like 3 tbsp of creamer though because I don’t love coffee and I also don’t do milk/sugar, it’s not enough sugar for me 🤣), add an ice cube or two, and drink with a reusable straw from the mason jar.. The plastic tumblers are also a good option but I don’t like refrigerating them as much because the seal isn’t completely tight. I also prefer drinking out of glass. Now you could pour directly from the cold brew maker, but I want to filter mine and I can’t make a new batch if I’m storing the cold brew in there... so the timing didn’t work out the first couple of batches doing that. The only downside, I do wish it wasn’t glass. The amount of moving this thing that is required while making a new batch always makes me nervous. Especially when I have to sit it on the sink to pour out the grounds (although I am going to look for other uses of the grounds in my yard or something). It does have a rubber bottom grip that is removable but I’m clumsy and am just one bad night’s of sleep from knocking it over and it breaking. But it is very nice it is glass and dishwasher safe and very easy to clean by hand in a pinch. Overall I would highly recommend. This is a great cold brew maker. I do wish I had gotten a larger size one because it takes a lot of grounds and I only get 3 days worth of coffee. I think a larger size would only use marginally more grounds and would get 4-5 days worth but I can’t confirm. Happy brewing!

So far, so good!
pros: easy to use, easy to clean (for small hands), great flavor cons: grounds get through filter, delicate glass, potentially difficult to clean for larger hands. I purchased this in early Nov. 2019, so I've had it about 3 months now. I don't have very many complaints - it gets the job done and is saving me money on coffee! Usability: This is a super easy to use cold brew maker! I love how it seals and how simple it is to use. A potential issue is how thin the glass is. I read a lot of reviews saying it breaks super easy, and I can see how it might. I'm super clumsy, but I haven't broken it yet! So I just advise you to treat it delicately. Lastly, if you don't have some kind of bottle brush, it may be difficult to clean. It's a breeze for me because I have small hands that slide right in, but those with larger hands will need a tool. Flavor/ end product: So far the only thing I'm unhappy with is that no matter what I do, it seems like some thin grounds ALWAYS get through the filter. I even tried grinding my own whole beans and they still get through a little bit. But I've gotten used to that now. I brew mine for longer than it recommends (I've been experimenting with amount of coffee, types of coffee, amounts of water, and brew time) so usually at LEAST 24 hours, but usually closer to 30 or more. The flavor is amazing when brewed that long. When brewed for 18-24 hours, it's still pretty good but not as bold. Either way, it's always smooth and very easy to drink!

An elegant and functional pitcher --great for Iced Tea!
I wanted a glass pitcher to keep iced tea in the fridge and this does the job. It is convenient to put the tea leaves in the filter, pour boiling water right in, and let it brew. It is very elegant as well. It feels like a more expensive item than it is. You have to take the top off to pour from it, but that doesn't bother me. The non slip base is a nice feature. I great purchase that I hope lasts a long time.

Pretty snazzy little cold brewer
I bought this after already owning the Takeya cold brew coffee maker so I have some experience now with two different makers. I find the Takeya to be superior only in that it is much easier to use, however, the coffee that comes from this brewer tastes A LOT better for some reason. So up front: I would definitely buy again, customer service is amazing, and I love this maker enough to use it daily. That said, I care about honest reviews so I am giving you one. Ok so for the pros. The thing looks amazing, every time I would fill it up at work people wondered whether I was making meth or cleaning a grill, this thing surely turns some heads. Next is the stainless steel and the glass, besides the necked bottle, it is relatively easy to clean. Just get you one of them sponge wands and you will be fine. To clean the metal tube you just stick it under warm running water. The best pro by far is the flavor of the coffee, turn that Foldgers into pure gold my friends, this thing will make most coffee taste a thousand times better. If you really want a treat, get you some Texas pecan coffee, I use the Lola brand...lawd is that some good coffee. Ok so for the cons. Biggest one for me is that it takes FOR EVER to fill it up. The tube goes in the mouth of the bottle and you fill that up with the grounds. I suppose you could just fill the thing up with water and then put the tube back in but if you want good coffee, you are gonna sit there a while pouring it ever so slowly so that it doesn't bubble over the top. On my rush days I would jam a butter knife in the tube while pouring the water to make sure it was getting all the way down to the bottom. Pouring the coffee out is also a pain, you have to pull the tube out to pour, which I guess is fine but still a pain. Next con is that this is a cold brew coffee maker that is designed to brew normal ground coffee, not cold brew ground coffee. HOWEVER, I fixed that by putting the coffee in the tube first to make sure I got enough coffee, then i dumped the tube out in the glass, put the tube in the bottle, and poured in my water. Put the lid on, give it a shake and wham, cold brew. Now, because of the smart design, when you go to pour it, instead of taking the tube out, you leave it in and just take the lid off. The coffee pours out through the center tube leaving the grounds in the bottle. Ok so sounds like a lot of cons but it really comes down to quality. You are buying a quality piece here that is made of glass and steel with perfectly machined parts, and it shows by way of flavor of coffee. I use it every day! Feel free to ask me any questions you may have!

Easy to use and, best of all, clean.
Keep in mind there are different sizes of these. In the 32oz size, it's enough to fill a tall travel mug of coffee plus about a half of a regular size mug after. To make the cold brew, you take the cap off, fill the center metal tube (read: filter) with the ground coffee (any ground coffee will work but there are grounds that are specifically used for cold brew...entirely your preference here), slowly pour water into the coffee-filled tube until it hits the "max" line indicated on the container. Then let it sit in your fridge for at least 12 hours before pouring it. When it is finished and you want to pour the coffee, take off the cap, remove the filter from the coffee, and discard the grounds into the trash, and rinse out the remaining coffee grounds from the filter and put it aside until you're ready to brew the next batch. You could also leave it inside if you want to and just remove it and clean it when you're ready to brew the next batch as well, but it's ideal to remove it at least when you're pouring it. I hand wash the cap and filter but I've put the container in the bottom rack of the dishwasher and it's held up. The coffee can last a week or so in your fridge before it should be discarded. Cold brew is great for the summer and I recommend adding ice to the mug before you pour your coffee into it. It can also be used to pack with tea leaves for an iced tea as well, although I haven't personally tried that yet, it should work the same way. Overall, I really like this style of cold brew. Just keep in mind if you want something bigger, go with a higher Oz container.

Cold Brew, Made Easy—and Made to Last
I’ve cycled through a few cold brew setups over the years, and the Ovalware Airtight Cold Brew Maker has hands-down become my favorite. It’s a perfect blend of durability, simplicity, and style. 🏗️ Quality Build & Thoughtful Design: Right out of the box, this brewer feels solid. The glass is thick and high quality, the stainless steel filter is sturdy yet precise, and the airtight seal gives me confidence when storing in the fridge. It’s clearly built for both form and function—sleek enough to leave out, tough enough to last. ☕ Generous Brewing Capacity: Whether I’m prepping for a single busy week or brewing ahead for guests, the large capacity is a standout. It holds plenty, which means fewer refills and more time sipping. 🌀 Simple Prep, Smooth Results: Setup is intuitive—add grounds, pour water, let it steep. The process couldn’t be easier, and cleanup is just as painless thanks to the well-designed mesh filter. The result is consistently smooth cold brew, perfect for hot days or mellow mornings. 🧱 One Minor Caveat: No matter how coarse I grind my beans, there tends to be a bit of sediment left behind after brewing. It's not a dealbreaker—just something to be aware of if you prefer ultra-clean coffee. A quick pour through a paper filter solves it, but I wish the mesh caught a bit more on its own. If you’re serious about cold brew and want a setup that’s functional, durable, and easy to love, Ovalware delivers. It’s earned a permanent spot in my fridge.

Bottom panel for ground coffee has no holes and does not allow drainage = negligent design.
Bottom panel for ground coffee has no holes and does not allow drainage = negligent design. Pretty good overall. But, when I see design flaws, I generally diminish the benefit of the doubt. I like Ovalware and have two cups I use daily because I like them best. But, this flaw goes directly to user experience as you cannot fully drain the foraminous/porous insert holding the coffee as the bottom panel should have microholes for drainage, but it does not. This flaw seems to be for manufacturing convenience and not user experience.

5 yrs and still making great cold brew coffee
I bought this 5 yrs ago and it's still like new and making great cold brew coffee! Easy to use and clean. I put the coffee in the filter and fill the carafe with water, put it in the refrigerator before I go to bed, then the next morning I have great fresh coffee. What could be easier? I love the size because 1.5L provides me with 6 cups of excellent cold brew which typically lasts me for 2 days during non-summer months and 1 day during the summer. To clean, you dump out the coffee grinds, rinse and put the filter in the dishwasher. The glass carafe is easy to clean with a little soap and water so I typically clean it by hand. I've considered "upgrading" to a newer cold brew system for faster production but many of the newer electric systems are expensive and frequently miss the point of cold brewing by hot brewing the coffee and then cooling it with ice. If you want fresh authentic cold brew flavor, this is a great product and couldn't be easier to use or clean.
