Audio IC Development Tools VS1053 Codec + MicroSD Breakout - MP3/WAV/MIDI/OGG Play + Record - v4

This is a very powerful and easy to use sound module. I worked with others that were very particular about the types of files it could play and even the file names you could use. This can play almost anything including MP3 format which is very common. It is pretty expensive though, so only 4 stars. I would also prefer to have an amplifier built-in and Adafruit do have other models that do. I've used many sound modules and each of them have their pros and cons, but this one is good to have on hand to try out ideas and then maybe look for cheaper alternatives when building your final project. Search Youtube for projects using the VS1053 chip. I have uploaded a few myself. Enjoy.
