On the 45'x53" how wide is the lip?

THE LIP IS ABOUT 10" LONG AND 20" WIDE

It ships rolled up. The instructions say to wait for it to warm up to room temperature to make it easier to flatten out. I used a blow dryer and it flattened out pretty quick and easy.

What is the thickness of this item?

Moderate. It is not real thick but we have been using them for about 6 months and they have held up well. We are not at our desk all day like people that are working from home if this helps.

Will this work on Heavy carpet . Thank you ?

It moved on me.lay it down going against the grain of carpet.

Hard to roll out; try your best

A pain to unroll but that's on purpose; once you got it mostly flatten out you're good to go; a bit of a bumpy encounter with this but not bad just takes a bit of elbow grease to unroll.

This mat is PVC! It stinks. It’s supposed to be polycarbonate.

Description says it is a poly carbonate, Matt. The mat we received is PVC. And has a lot of odor coming from it. We returned it.

Desk chair mat.

It moves some every time I sit in the chair. I thought it was to stay in place with the spikes on bottom. Maybe my carpet is too thick.
