This is a very nice-looking gate latch and seems to be of good quality. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn (after installing, of course!) that it is for a swing-in gate and mine is a swing out! I should have known this because I've installed similar ones before, but I didn't realize it until everything was put in and I couldn't open the gate. Now I'm having to look for something else. Depending on the type of gate you have, it is possible to make adaptations that allow it to work, but it would be good to plan on that ahead of time. I can't attest to the durability because I had to uninstall it.

Nice well made latch, not it didn't work with our screen door

Would not recommend. I can bend it with my handsno instructions, flimsy, and useless customer service. Dont waste your time or money on this product.Very disappointed!
