Great Mic!
This has been an excellent mic for my amateur voice acting work! It came with the mic itself, the holder that screws onto your mic stand, and a couple accessories. It comes in a solid travel case. I recommend it for your simple audio recordings! I’ve used it for both voice & instruments, and it’s clear & great. Pretty sensitive even!

Excellent for home recording!
Perfect for any stringed instrument! Drums, percussion very good as well. A very warm clean sensitive mic. So sensitive I could hear my wife cooking vegetables in the far side of the house from my studio room with the doors closed! It’s worth it!

Excellent LDC mic with accessories
This is an excelllent LDC microphone. It's an upgrade from a USB mic that I needed for a voiceover job. Although my USB mic is solid, the MXL 990 is a massive upgrade: the sound is so much richer. It comes with an XLR cable, a sturdy travel/storage case, & a pop filter for a mic stand, so it's a awesome bargain. I wanted to get the Audio-Technia AT2020, but it couldn't arrive in time. I'm more than satisfied with my purchase due to the stellar audio quality & bundled accesories for the same price as the AT2020, which is just the mic alone. I purchased it with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen, and have put the USB mic aside as a back up. Highest recommendation.

Solid Mic with Great Accessories
The microphone arrived in a sturdy case and works really well. Setup was easy, and it picks up very little background noise, which really surprised me. It comes with a cable and pop filter, so I didn’t have to buy anything extra for recording. Overall, very satisfied.

Microphone is good but bracket is terrible
Microphone is good but bracket is terrible. I hand-tighened the nut but mic's weight still caused it to droop. Tried harder hand tightening (I did not use any tools) and the nut snapped. I had to drill out the remains of the nut from the screw hole and use a separate nut and bolt and tighten that to get it to stay in place. That worked but now I need to use a pliers or wrench to loosen and tighten the nut if I want to adjust.
