I used this to rig up my rope lights. When I decided I didn't like the placement of one I tried simply to pull it off. That was a mistake because it pulled the surrounding paint off with it. Easy to install but not easy to remove. I would make sure you know where you wish to put these before installing, as there are no instructions for removal. I'm a bit disappointed because I got these to avoid putting holes in my wall. But overall, they do what you need them to do and they do it well. I am going to need to look up solutions for removal if I ever need to remove more

I bought the Govee ropes like 2 years ago and used the clips that came with them. When I needed to move, the removal process was a pain. They ripped the paint off and removing all that residue was taking me too long, I decided to buy a pack and use a different glue strip that is less harmful to my wall than the ones they originally came with. It's been 3 months since I moved with these new brackets and they are perfect.

One could argue that this is a review for the lights, and not for the clips.I have two neon rope lights - one indoor and one outdoor one. They didn't come with enough clips. So I ordered these to create a symmetrical Christmas tree shape, just to feel a little festive. I used the adhesives to create the shape and adhere the rope to the wall. However, the neon rope light is too strong for these clips. If you try to do any of the bends recommended in the shape references for the indoor rope light, they will pop out in no time.Sure Govee recommends that we use the screws to hold them in place, but I am not about to drill 40-50 holes in one wall for one shape. That defeats the ability to use these ropes for different shapes over time (I dont want a Christmas tree on my wall after December).Also, why are these only in white? For my outdoor light, they are odd because the outdoor strip itself is black. That's an unfortunate design gap.

Great replacement for when you need to rehang your neon rope lights. They’re sturdy and easy to install, making it simple to reposition your lights exactly where you want them. If you need to move or rearrange your setup, these brackets make the job much easier. Definitely a useful accessory to have on hand for anyone with Govee lights!

These are good don’t get me wrong with the adhesive is very weak so you’ll have to use a lot more then you think to keep your lights hung. Unfortunately these are kinda the only one on the market I was looking for 3rd party alternatives but there were none. So we kinda stuck with this.

The media could not be loaded. You need more clips than are provided with the rope lights. They give you 20 I think per long rope light. You need 30-35 if you want it to hug the corner of the walls. Otherwise it will dip and raise between clips. Buy a box for each rope just to be safe. You need a clip about every 6-8”. Also, push that clip ALL the way against the ceiling or what have you. Not just close. ALL the way against it you’ll be doing it again.It’s $20 for a box of 20 on Amazon. Laughable price but you need them and govee knows it.The good part is they stick great. They pull the paint off the wall when you take them off so be mindful of that. I’m leaving mine when I move in a couple months.

Great idea but the holders are to wide to secure most of my rope lights they need to to have something to clip in the light to secure them but they don’t. Useless item.
