I bought a used truck that was owned by a smoker. I thought I could deal with it, but it was unbearable. Googled and tried all the remedies. Tried the chlorine dioxide, worked for a month and smell came back. Tried the bamboo charcoal, made no difference. Tried baking soda, coffee to no avail. Read about the Ozone generator and gave it a go. The chlorine dioxide was $25 for a one time shot so I thought $52 for a reusable remedy was fair. Ran the AC on recirculation the first time I used it and it made a little difference, but it was still a lingering smell. I thought I was had, but I ran it a second time with no AC and I couldn’t believe the smell was basically GONE. I ran it a third time for good measure and I can smell a thing. Even sitting in the summer sun with the doors closed I smell nothing. Even if the smell comes back I can just run the generator again. Comes with car adapter and wall adapter. Pretty good product for the price! Had an old car previously owned by a smoker. Not a perfect device, but for the price, you can't beat it! Only complaint is battery life can be a bit short after many uses

i purchased this item about a year ago. It worked great the first couple times I used it. I tried to use it a couple of weeks ago and the thing won't take a charge. I contacted the seller seen as it states that there is a 1 year warranty with it but haven't heard back from them. It's pretty expensive for a throw away after a couple of uses device.

I bought this for my work car that was recently given to me after starting my new job. The past few drivers were heavy smokers and the cigarette smell was incredibly strong. I tried a few different cleaners, air fresheners, spray smoke odor eliminator, and leaving the windows and doors open for hours with no luck. I was about to steam clean the interior as a last effort to eliminate the smell and then read ozone generators could kill the smoke smell. I found this unit and was a little skeptical because of its size compared to other larger units for only $20 more. I decided to give it a try because it's small enough to fit in a cup holder and has a rechargeable battery along with being able to run off a car's cigarette lighter. When it arrived I thought I had been taken due to the spelling and grammar errors through out the instructions. I was very wrong. This little thing is incredible, I charged it overnight and turned it on when I was getting out of the car to head into the office. When I returned to my car a few hours later I was amazed. The stale smoke smell was completely gone and the car was left with a clean scent that almost smelled like a fresh cut lawn. Overall I was a little disappointed in the price because I will most likely only need to use it the one time, but then again it completely eliminated the smell that the other $40 in cleaners and hours of effort couldn't. I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again if I had to do it over. One important thing to note: ozone is dangerous to your health and you or pets can not be present while this is being used. Make sure to air out the area for a few minutes before re-entering.

i bought this to make a homemade ozone sent elimination kit, the unit works and holds a charge etc etc. when i used it with my hunting clothes this fall, what i though would give me sent free advantage, litterally spooked every deer that came inside 50 yards of me wind or no wind. these were clean clothes treated to one cycle in a large bin. Once i rewashed my gear, it went back to normal. So not sure if its user error or something else, but i guess ill just use it to air out my car from now on.

When first received, I would charge in the house(charger isn't car compatible) about twice a week as I used daily when exiting my vehicle at night. I'm a casual smoker and this little thing kept my car FRESH and new smelling. It was annoying to have to bring in the house when it ran out of a charge (usually after 2.5/3 run cycles), but I didn't return because it was very effective. One day, after removing from the charger, tapping the top twice to turn on, the blue light flashed twice and went off. I tried tapping again thinking I accidently turned and off again, but nope=next time i tried the blue light wont even turn on anymore. Just completely STOPPED WORKING---- its a pricey car freshner, left feeling duped.

Works great. If you understand and are familiar with the cleaning powers of ozone then this is the real deal. I'm very much into air cleaning believe it or not. I have UV-C bulbs, air filters, air cleaners, ionizers, portable ionizers, other ozonators etc. I have my AC plug air cleaners on smart plugs that clean the air at night while Im sleeping. So I know my stuff and I'm careful. This products gives good ozone and cleans well. The LED is great. I thought I'd only use it a little for the cars and stuff but the portability has made it my goto ozonator for the different rooms in the house. Double click top button, close the door, come back in 90 minutes, and air it out. Room smells so clean afterwards. Great product does a great job. Nice price. Thanks. Product idea: make one half the size but as effective so that I can take it with me easier for hotel rooms and travelling.
