MerrellMen's, Hydro Moc Water Shoe

First, these shoes are great! Comfortable and all that. But I wanted to discuss the sizing. Like you, I read several reviews saying to order a size down. So I did. I am a 9 so I got an 8. And while the “length” was fine in the 8, the width and way it hugged my foot was uncomfortable. I returned those for a 9. Much better. They were looser but not like they would fall off my foot. So, my advice order two pairs, one in your size and size down and return the one that doesn’t fit.

I use this shoe to go down a path to the lake and in shallow water. For both, it is support that feels good and also keeps the pebbles and debris from bothering your feet.The size runs a little large. I take a size 12 tennis shoe and could probably use a size 11.5 or 11, but it is not cumbersome.Overall, I think a very good fit for those going on land and water.

I am a size 10 and was told to by one size down for a good fit. The size 9 works great and feels snug but not too tight when walking around creeks and under water. The shoes dry fast and so far so good. I feel like these will far outlast my previous sandal type purchases especially when I get them wet.

I do a lot of wade fishing so rocks and oyster beds are an issue for me moving through the water. This is light and holds up. Gave a 4 out 5 because the fit and wear is not ideal. My foot slides around too much for my likening and the toe area has an upwards bend which is uncomfortable until you get used to it. Using the strap to secure the heal tends to cause uncomfortable rubbing. I use the shoe in saltwater and store it in the back of my truck, and as of now I haven’t gotten any cracking or tearing from this and I have had them around a year. I definitely recommend and if they find away to fix the sliding and comfort issue these would be perfect.

Let me start off with the fact that I really like this shoe. Although it didn't turn out to be the right shoe for the situation that I wanted it for, I REALLY loved the fit and comfort and have sent my Crocs to Goodwill. If you you are someone who likes Crocs but have some dislikes, these shoes solve all of my dislikes of the Crocs except that I always thought Crocs were too heavy and expensive for their function/build. And because of the added heal cup the Hydro Mocs are even heavier than the same sized Crocs and more expensive.I started looking at these because I am a backpacker and we have more snowpack this year than in recent history which means we will have many stream crossings this year. As a backpacker the items you carry are a compromise between functionality, comfort and weight. For some things like hiking shoes and pack the comfort factor is more important than weight but for camp shoes weight and stream capability outweigh comfort. The weight of these shoes prohibit them from being my camp shoe. At 454gm/pair for size 10 they are on par with the equivalent sized Nike Free 12 (500gm) or Merrell trail glove 11.5 (500gm) or even the Crocs 11 (399) but are significantly heavier than the equivalent sized Merrell Vapor Glove 11.5 at 363gm /pair. I could hike 20 miles in a vapor glove but not in a hydro moc. My current camp shoe the discontinued New Balance 5000 size 12 at 228 gm per pair wins in both weight and traction. Even wet it weighs less than the Hydro Moc.But I still like the Hydro Moc. On a multi-day canoe, kayak , or whitewater rafting trip it might be the best choice. It is a big improvement over the Crocs. But like the Crocs I just can't justify an extra half pound in my pack especially when a lace up shoe is less likely to get lost in a water crossing.Sizing runs large. I typically wear a 11.5 4E and had to go to a 10 in the Hydro Moc.

I hate them so much. They're like more stylish Crocs which disgusted me but my damn blood kin ordered me a pair and I made the mistake of putting them on my feet... they are too comfortable. I want to keep hating them but my feet love them which makes me hate them more.So I bought two more pairs.Only complaint is they aren't great for stomping around when your feed are wet inside the feet container on unstable ground. Why do they have to be so damn comfy, why!

These shoes are comfortable, functional, price is right. I like the colors. The style is unique but I like it. quality is top notch and feel of the material is firm but also gives which is great. You can wear these all day long on the lake, river, camping, the beach - they go anywhere

I bought these in my search for shoes to 0addle in. They failed at that task or to be to the point they're not my best choice. OTH, I use these butt ugly shoes all the time. Super comfortable with more protection than slides, they've become my shoe of choice around the house and garden. They are mighty ugly though..,

Excelente diseño, solo pide una talla menos de la que sueles usar, vienen muy amplios, yo soy 26mx y pedí 25mx y me ajustan excelente

De entrada son unos zapatos súper cómodos de buen material y colores sólidos. Lo único que siento es que al usarlo en exterior te pueden sudar los pies sin calceta, pero igual subo un update ahora que los pueda probar.

Lindos. Peguei um tamanho menor que o habitual e serviu perfeitamente.

Extremely comfortable

Never thought I would get anything like these or croc like shoes but these are fantastic, comfy and easy to clean, use in communal showers or at the beach, or when it’s hot just around the house and in the garden,I love them, I had to return my first pair size 9, I am normally 9.5 uk. I Re-ordered size 8uk and these fit me great, so try to order with the option of free returns if needed as the sizes are not correct.
