I ordered this extension cord hoping that the female side was also slim, but it turned out not to be. Either way, the male side with a low profile plug that swivels is nice. I was able to get it set up where I wanted it, with minimal issues. If I need a plug that can be reoriented on the male side in the future, I will definitely look for this one.

We just remodeled our kitchen and a little cabinet near the breakfast table is called the toaster hutch. The plan was for it to look like furniture-like a hutch, and that the toaster would ALWAYS be plugged in as my husband LOVES his toast and we have a vintage toaster from the 50s that we love. As the kitchen was planned I didn't realize this would be an issue, but they put the outlet right in the middle of the back of this hutch area. White cabinet, white back, white outlet. Then we plug in our vintage toaster with brown cord and I just hated the way it looked. (Why didn't we put the outlet down low by the countertop?) I got the idea of a very short extension cord, white, flat plug, to just sort of blend in. Much cheaper than moving the outlet or adding another outlet. I ordered a cord on amazon that said it was a 12" cord. It was 12" in overall length (the cord part was 6") and way too short. I returned it and ordered another which said it was 18". However, the cord by itself was 22" and it was nearly 26" overall. It worked, but it left too much cord piled up behind the toaster. Also, it was an angled flat plug, but it angled in the WRONG direction for my needs. It was better, but not very good. Then VIOLA! I found this cord and it said in the description what the actual cord measurement was. It sounded like it would work and the price was very comparable to the other cords I had tried. I LOVE it that the flat plug can rotate so it can go in any direction. It is a hefty enough cord to easily accommodate the electrical needs of the toaster. I realize you're not supposed to remove the tag, sorry. The length is terrific. Another thing I like is the cord itself is flat, not round. I realize most people will use these cords behind furniture or appliances but I love how it meets the needs of our particular situation. Not too big, not too small, JUST RIGHT! (See my before and after pics---You'll agree!)

Let’s set expectations properly: this is an extension cord. It’s not curing diseases, spinning records, or changing the world. And yet… the Maximm Rotating Flat Plug Extension Cord somehow managed to impress me. First of all, the flat plug with 360° rotation is the MVP here. Whoever designed this clearly got tired of furniture bullying power cords. It hugs the wall, twists exactly where you need it to, and fits behind desks, couches, and cabinets like it was born there. No awkward bends. No cord yoga. No “why won’t this plug in all the way?” moments. The 15-foot length is perfect, not “why is there cable everywhere?” long, but long enough to solve real problems. I can route it cleanly, keep things tidy, and still reach where power actually exists (because outlets are never where you need them). It’s sturdy, well-built, and does exactly what it promises, quietly and reliably.

This has a flat head, and unlike some that have a flat head in a fixed position, this will rotate to any position. Ones with a fixed position work for me sometimes. But they can be a problem if they come out in the wrong direction. They can also be a problem if the particular angle blocks things such as a USB port on the outlet and might be usable on the bottom outlet but not the top. For that, this won't help. The rotating head is significantly larger than fixed plugs on other outlets, and will cover more of the outlet. If it's an ordinary duplex outlet, you can use one or two of these with no problem. This will solve some problems, but for others you will want a fixed position plug.

Fits flush against the wall. Nicely made. Good quality. As advertised. Would buy again.

I bought this because regular plugs insist on sticking straight out and ruining everything. This one lays flat, rotates, and actually makes sense. Feels sturdy, works exactly as advertised, and immediately made my setup look less chaotic.
