have purchased this twice and it is really excellent. The size is perfect for everyday use and it chops onions, garlic, vegetables, and other ingredients very quickly. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much space in the kitchen. Great quality for the price and works just as well as larger food processors. Highly recommended.

The Hamilton Beach Mini Food Chopper is a compact and easy-to-use appliance, ideal for chopping vegetables, herbs, and nuts. Its one-touch operation and sharp stainless steel blades provide quick and consistent results. While it’s best for small portions, it offers good performance and convenience at an affordable price.

First, the good: it has a powerful motor. Reasonably quiet. Easy to fill and operate, very easy to clean. Doesn't take up much counter space, looks good enough to be left out but compact enough to store if you prefer. The somewhat bad: because the motor is powerful and the blade starts right up at a high speed, you may have a hard time getting a medium chop rather than a fine mince. I put chunks of onion in, wanting a medium dice, but before I knew it, within seconds, the onion was finely minced. To get a coarser chop, first, put in a small amount of veggie cut up into chunks; if you fill the container up, the bottom layer will be minced before the upper layer gets pulled down into the blades. Pulse very briefly - like, not even a full second. When you get the size of dice that you want, empty the container and put in another small batch. Unplug it when taking the lid off and lifting the bowl off to empty it, because it's possible to accidentally press the power thingy. If you want fine mince such as for relish, carrot cake, or pesto, you don't have to be as cautious, but for chopping or dicing, it takes a little more practice. I'd give it 4 1/2 if possible, it's a good small appliance.

Works well, chops quickly, easy to use and clean.

I bought this for my mom because she wanted to have something small that can be conveniently put and save space, but also that works really well and gets the job done. My mom makes alot of curries and pastes that help speed up cooking time, and this chopper allows for this to happen. Moveover, it works so fast you don't need to do more than once, like it takes at least 1 minute and everything is nicely chopped up or in a paste. The noise level is good and everything is easy to clean!

I have used multiple brands of mini-choppers. None of them last more than a couple years. This one is a great value for the money. It’s easier to use bc you just add the items to chop, then press down on the lid. No turning and locking a lid with a thin plastic arm. It just works well!

This is a great little food processor for small quantities and cooking for two. We ditched our full size processor after using this a few times. Easy to clean and works well. Takes up very little space either on the counter or in a cabinet. Good price.

Great must have for the kitchen! Compact and powerful. Super easy to clean, quick rinse in the sink, then top rack of dishwasher. Body of machine also easy to clean, wipe with damp cloth. Useful for those of us with hand issues, no need to twist the top to lock and start. Simple press of the top to use. Fast and efficient, another great Hamilton Beach product.

Me gusta mucho concinar, pero detesto picar cebolla (me hace llorar, tiro por viaje). Cuando vi esto en Amazon... y a este precio... simplemente tuve que pedirlo. ¡Una excelente decisión! Es pequeño y fácil de usar. Pero, quizá lo más importante: ¡es facilísimo de lavar! Smiplemente quitar la tapa, la cuchilla, y la base, lavar con cuidado, secar, y guardar. Ahorra mucho tiempo picando las cosas, y me gusta mucho cómo deja los cortes. Por supuesto, hay que saber utilizarlo. No se deja apretado consntatemente, porque haría un licuado. Más bien: se le dan pequeños "toques" (yo diría que de medio segundo cada uno) y se va midiendo cómo va el proceso de picado... y se le dan más toques (según sea necesario) hasta que quede justo como quieres. Ahora, picar cebolla es tan fácil como partir una cebolla en octavos, echarlos al chopper, y listo. Ya solo falta ver cuánto tiempo dura... pero, por el precio... vale la pena intentarlo.
