Muffles sound of rowing machine really well but too cushy for a Peloton!
These squares are very easy to work with and to piece together. Now and then where corners aren't exact it is easy to trim the very small amount of excess, but otherwise they fit together seamlessly. They stay in place and make a really nice surface for working out. We bought them because we live in an apartment and want to muffle the noise to our downstairs neighbor of our rowing machine. They have made a real difference. A note to anyone with a Peloton: these are quite firm but too cushy for the Peloton, which wobbled slightly on this surface (and on the right surface a Peloton sits firmly, with no movement at all), so we moved it back to the mat that came with the bike since it doesn't make any real noise. The rowing machine has no problem on the mats and sits firm. They are expensive but worth the price, and we also found that we wanted a few more to cover a bigger space than originally planned. Highly recommend.

Plush but need to air them out.
The initial smell is a bit strong. I recommend airing the new product out for a week+. I just put the up in my garage like a card tower and let them air out. Probably even better outside. Thick and plush and stay locked together. Great for a yoga or stretching area. Comes with plenty of end cap pieces so you won’t be left short.

Good quality
These are great and firm enough to give the support I was looking for.

Solid and comfortable
These REEKED when they first came out of the packaging, but 24 hours later and the odor is no longer noticeable. They were really easy to put together, no bad fits, and they came with more than enough side trim for practically any need, unless you plan to do a bunch of 1x2 configurations with them, in which case you'll quickly run out. The mat is extremely comfortable to the touch, including bare skin/bare feet. I have no complaints quality-wise. I did notice some stippling on the bottom of one of the sections where it appeared to have some mild damage and indentations, but not enough that I was worried about the integrity of the padding. The tops were all pristine, and the tiles fit together tightly enough you can barely see the seams at a glance. I was worried my cat might think this was a new scratchpad, but he's pretty well leaving the pad alone. He tried scratching at the laid down squares once, but then gave up. He's not afraid to walk on the pads, and we even played some laser on them and he had a great time with that, so I'm no longer worried there. EDIT (2024/04/16): Lost 1 star Just under 1 month in, and several of the edge pieces have begun delaminating. That is, the rubber topper is separating from the foam. Each piece of the puzzle mats comes with 2 edge pieces (1 corner, 1 continuous) so after piecing these together I had several extra edge pieces so I can replace the ones that are failing. However, if this continues to happen I'll soon run out of extra edge pieces. I will update again if I eventually run out of extra edge pieces to replace ones that come apart. The tiles themselves remain stable and their lamination has not come undone. Just the edge pieces are experiencing issues.

Perfect for home gym
Easy to piece together and looks and feels good. Had it for a couple months and is holding up very well to almost daily use. Was able to assemble to the dimensions I needed for my corner of the basement.

Great product
Very durable fit and fit together perfectly. Also very easy to install. Couldn’t be happier with this product

Low quality and lightweight.
Not what is advertised. It’s basically a rubber coating over some lightweight foam. Think like pool noodle consistency, but a bit finer. Very soft and really not conducive to working out on. Because it’s extremely light weight, the tiles also tend to come apart just from regular use, at least on the carpet floor that I am trying to use them on. Would probably be ok for like a toddler play area, but definitely not for a gym or shop floor.

Good when using alone, not so much when adding to existing flooring
The product alone is good, however if you are adding to flooring you purchased from a sporting goods store, the edges will not lock in place correctly. The end pieces are backwards and the middle grove points left and all other brands point right. If I flip the mat, it fits but that defeats the purpose. I’ve opened mine so can’t return.

These are pricey, but worth it. Love how grippy these mats are.

A lot softer than I expected but absorbs impact of dropped weights pretty well. Rubber layer seems like it’ll hold up but not sure how long the softer foam will last.
