I do wish these came with batteries but who am I kidding? I'm a boy mom and that boy owns so many battery operated toys. He loves building and shaping the tracks. It's cool that these don't require a controller to work. Just put in batteries, push the button on top of the car, and put it on the tracks. We love that they glow in the dark for an extra element of fun!

I ordered a set before this and wasn't happy. I found this one with extra fun things on the track ex bridge criss cross intersection etc. He loves it.Easy set up and he can play pretty independently with it.I can see him playing for this in years to come too.

I always worry when I order something like this if I didn’t just succumb to a gimmick. Not this track. It snaps together easily, and the cars just zip along it perfectly. Sometimes the cars jump the tracks, but it’s easily resolved by straightening the track a bit. My 2yr old grandson loves this toy! It’s as advertised.

I have been a HUGE Magic Tracks fan for at least 5 years and have purchased several sets. Some of my cars were broken from a lot of use, so I bought this set for the cars and to get more track (you can never have enough track). However I was EXTREMELY disappointed in the cars that came with this set - they plainly SUCK. I think they are slightly wider than my original cars, and they have a hard time going around tight curves and even jump over the edges and off the track if it isn't straight enough. I wondered if the problem was the track, so I put my old cars on the same track and they ran around it quickly and with no problems. This set is a good price for the track alone, but DON'T BUY IT if what you want is some good cars!!!
