Works well, very light and easy to use
I started out with moon cups, later found this disc type and found it much more comfortable. I also used to have an IUD, and the mooncup hurt pretty good on removal. This disc is really nice, very thin layer in the middle, but it seems to work. I also own a ziggy cup and the diva menstrual disc and I am not using the ziggy cup anymore as I find the wide band very painful. The diva disc works well for me, too, and it has good protection from auto-dumping. I've just started using this flex disc and it feels better, less painful, so far holds everything in well. I haven't experienced the auto-dumping yet so I'm not sure on that, otherwise it's really nice to see a clear disc, it was super simple to insert and stays in well.

Life saver
Incredible.I tried a cup once and it was a nightmare. It scared me off for a long time. I decided to try the disposable discs after a moment of reconsideration and it was fantastic. It went so well I bought the reusable one and it's my first cycle with it, I'm sold.I have severe cramps, and I have noticed a massive difference with these. I still get them, particularly bad on day one, but when I used tamps I would cramp full time all week. With these, I almost didn't have any. I felt day one, and the rest of the time it was a rare ache here and there. Some days nothing at all.I love that I can sleep with them. I barely leaked overnight on my heaviest day (I normally do with tamps, even the extra supers, and I have to set alarms to change them because even with overnight pads I've had mishaps). I only needed a panty liner for that one night! One thing though, I could auto dump with the disposable option. I also had a few leaks with the disposables, on my heaviest day. With this reusable option, I cannot seem to auto dump. It's said that's because with the size and composition it's a better fit for my body. That's fine, I can deal with that. But it's a little disappointing because I enjoyed the auto dump spring my heaviest days when I didn't want to need longer breaks at work or on the go to handle that. I have decided to use disposables during that time instead so I could utilize that, but the rest of my period the reusable is great. Now about placement. I am in my late 30s, one delivery by c section. I watched multiple videos online and was nervous about getting it right and getting it out. I found it totally easy to get it in and tucked my first try. It was totally comfortable, didn't feel it at all. The disposable ones tend to slip on me while using the restroom and need to be readjusted, but this reusable one doesn't do that. Removing it was a bit of a learning curve. The disposable ones were easier to remove for me, the thinner lining and more pronounced edge made quick work of hooking my finger under it and pulling it out. This one's more flush and rounded and the material made it a little more difficult to do that. I had a mess my first attempt, and I was glad I tried that at home where the sink is nearby and I had plenty of clean up options. The second time, I tried to move more slowly and get the feel for it, but it fell in the toilet. I never had that happen with the disposable ones and it was pretty annoying and gross. I was not at home for that situation, it was a public restroom, so I just had to let that one go. Thankfully I bought multiples, which I HIGHLY suggest for just that situation. But after that I have seemed to have figured it out and no longer having any difficulty with it.

FLEX IS THE BEST :):):)
Quick update /protip:When inserting, for best seal, sometimes, esp durring heavy flow, i pat my lower canal down so its not inserted into a super wet mess. This was my only original issue and i figured out if o did a little rinse or pat pat, the disc sealed perfectly never with any issue.Original review:Frankly, I LOVE THIS DISC. Only seriously motivated to review it after deciding to venture out when my last/first flex disc was ready for retirement. This time, instead, I bought the pixie cups. I figured I'd get both since, why not, and I'd never tried the upper sized ones so was curious and got the two pack. The smaller pixie was too small, to soft, it bubbled up creating no bowl to catch. I liked the string/easy removal idea also but it's just not comfortable like the flex. The flex is amazing. Litterally, it would be best if I set an alarm because it's SO COMFORTABLE, I feel nothing so if not for cramps or a teeeeeeeny bit of red that can come when wiping for pee, or for poo the cup self empties some so it's a good reminder, oh I have period protection to take care of 😆. Flex is a dream. I tried allllll of the cups. They don't feel good, i can feel them, the ends /bottom part/tips press on your soft exit area when sitting, and moving, or just with no movement at all. Im returning / processing refund for the pixies. The small needs to be bigger and more ridged and the large, well im 36 and have not had babies but wow SO SO SO FIRM. I feel the standard flex is the best of both these worlds fitting right in the middle and would likely be good for both pre and post birth women. I traveled the world with mine for two years. Let me say THESE ITEMS SHOULD ONLY BE SOLD IN CLEAR!!!!! PINK AND PURPLE, NON OPAQUE COLORS ARE DANGEROUS!!! The clear allows you to see what and where is not clean and needs to be cleaned. Mine easily lasted two years. And no I could not boil as often as needed giving my living circumstances but, probably due to its clear color, I could clean very well anything left behind. ALL of the other ones I used besides the... idk the name maybe also flex is hot pink with honey comb texture on the bowl area, gained weird smell I could never get rid of. My personal ph is likely better now but regardless this thing NEVER EVER smelled weird and I am one of those "super smellers" who can smell strongly things that other people can't even pick up. Love this disc. Worth every penny. Will stay with them. My yoni is really not happy with pixie. I feel if you like that one you haven't tried this one. I get removal is "harder" with no string, but relaxing and bearing down was always plenty to retrieve and you sacrifice completely comfort for a 1 second challenge of removal. Love flex. Thanks yall ✨️✨️✨️
