I have not been using it for long, but it works well and came with all you need to polish a batch of rocks. The only thing it didn’t provide was oil/lubricant for the belt- something they suggest doing prior to its first use. I have it running in a garage so I can’t speak to the noise really — it’s not quiet but not particularly loud either. They even sent a second batch of rough rocks for tumbling, just for registering the product on their website.

First batch is still in progress, but set up was quick and easy, and it's so much quieter and seems to be more durable than the intro level one I bought my son at Christmas (which broke in the first go-round, but that's another story and a different brand.) Customer service was quick and prompt (and sent me the bonus bag of rocks in under a week! All I've needed from them so far!) Also, the tumbling stones that came with the package are larger than ones I've gotten other ways, so fyi, but I'm fine with that! Can't wait to see how lovely they turn out!

I have set up in my garage. It runs practically all year long. I between 7-9 days for each of the recommended 4 grits for rocks. Mostly used for sea glass from Alaska, Agates, Jasper from Oregan and will next Cape May diamonds and Delaware Agates and Quartz. The unit does vibrate a lot, I have a couple bricks to hold in place and a Cast Iron pan. Only complaint , belts break a lot. This is expected and replacement 5 belts are only around 10 bucks . Each one can last from 2 weeks to 2 months. Never Know. May try another, since bringing home next week over 40 lbs of new finds from New Jersey and Deleware. Price was very resonable.

The tumbler works very well. I’ve used it for tumbling rocks with my class and we had a great time taking our rocks from rough to smooth. The instructions are basic and I ended up watching a lot of YouTube videos about rock tumbling to get helpful tips when our first batch wasn’t as smooth and shiny as we’d expected. I’ll edit this and add the most important tips I gathered. The only real thing that I wish was different was that the belts seemed to last only as long as each cycle. Luckily, they quickly sent replacements when I requested them! Very good customer service and support.

I have 5 grandchildren and we all spend fun time together looking for rocks and they are getting old enough to help me tumble the rocks! They also are learning about the different rocks. I have been fortunate to work with you to keep tumbling. I ordered my second tumbler 6 months ago but when I needed to replace the tumbler, there was prompt replacement of tumbler so I could continue to tumble! Thank you!

Amazing product that I have had so much fun using so far! The customer service is beyond expectation! I needed a replacement part and it was as easy as texting the super friendly CS associate Daisy who sent my replant right away and followed up with me to make sure I was satisfied. This might be the funnest Christmas gift I have gotten as an adult!

The kit has all you need for two starting batches (hard and softer rocks). I had an issue with my drum leaking, I bought this kit because in the description the seller promotes customer service. I had an issue with the drum leaking, I sent them an email explaining what I tried to correct the issue. From there they sent me a new drum, it works perfectly and the kids love it. I’m glad I reached out instead of trying to return it. Lots of fun.

UPDATE 03/2025: I contacted the company and they sent me a new base after I sent them the details of the problems I was having. I don't know if it was the problems we were having with the unit, but the rocks upon the finial finish did not come out super shiny as expected. When we get back from vacation I'll be testing it out again from start to finish with the new base, and will re-update my review then.So I have mixed feelings on this rock tumbler. We got it as a Christmas gift for our child. We didn't start tumbling the included rocks until February. At first, the unit worked well and everything was progressing as we expected. Then small issues started to crop up. The buttons on the unit were not working as expected and you'd have to push a button a few times to get it to register. Then the countdown for the number of days would not project the correct days left. For example, we would actually be on Day 4, but it would keep saying that 9 Days were left in the cycle. Even if you tried to change it to the correct day, it would always reset to 9. So unless you stayed on top of the tumbling days, you'd be off. We haven't even gotten through the entire 4 cycle rock tumbling period (currently just finished cycle 3) and this is only our 1st go round of trying out the machine. And it hasn't been in use constantly...we've had to do some traveling and have turned it off/unplugged it during those times. The rocks are still getting tumbled and are getting smoother and smoother, but I really expect a device like to perform better after only barely 2 months of use. I'm worried something is wrong with the control panel, and that isn't an easy fix like a belt replacement....it's a problem with the unit itself.So like any normal person, I contacted the support email in their user manual about these problems....and have gotten zero response back. Other reviews have noted excellent customer support but that has not been my experience. Very disappointed! I cannot recommend this product.... the problems we've experienced after only a couple of months of use coupled with the non-existent customer support is a big NOPE from me.
