A Great Sartorial Accent
This pocket compass with portable sun dial is a lovely little piece that makes a great gift for those graduating or a nice sartorial accent for people looking to add to their wardrobe. It’s sturdy enough, but given differences in declination based on geographic location, I do think the compass is inaccurate. Still, a nice piece and it would work well for steampunk attire, too.

Beautifully Functional
Good quality metal without being too heavy and bulky. This compass does actually point north and the sun dial works as well. The engraved design is whimsical and delicate. This is a beautifully functional piece of art.

It works
The compass is touchy. Theres some steel in this so you have to set it level to work right. The needle moves fast but tends to over correct. Setting it on steel completely throws off the reading.

No batteries needed!
Duh. It's a sundial and a magnetic compass. They both work well, but I do wonder how long this sundial is gonna hold up. Good for the gimmick costume I'm wearing!

fell apart
broke almost immediately ... bought for my 11 yr old granddaughter for her costume; she couldn't even use it..

Nice little novelty
Nice little item, brass has nice weight and feels solid. Probably not as useful as a larger sundial but as a keychain type novelty, very neat. Happy with item.

It is terrible, actually I am returning it. The push button to open the face does not work properly, and the piece on top does not stay open. It should never have been sold like that. Make that 1/2 star.

La verdad estaba un poco nerviosa porque estando tan barato pensé que se iba a ver un poquito chafa pero no, cuando lo recibí me pareció un artículo super lindo perfecto para un regalo. Compré uno para un regalo y después compré uno para mí porque me parece una pieza muy especial. Estuve buscando entre muchas opciones y esta me parece que tiene un diseño super lindo y es super económica.

Bonny wee compass and watch. A well made re-creation of a supposed naval time piece, damn the thing works, I've been out and my daughter checked her watch, me 4.20 and daughter 4.30. Well it works on a sunny day 😎.

大変申し訳ないのですが、期待はずれでした。 プレゼント用にと準備してしましたが、ビニールに入って届き、また真鍮特有ではありますが金属の古さを感じさせる汚れがあり、プレゼントには諦めました。
