Marshall Acton III Bluetooth Speaker - Black

The Acton III is an excellent little speaker. Very punchy bass which you would expect with Marshall (famous for their Bass guitar amps) with lively top end from separate tweeters. Reasonable separation although not super wide. I got for a bedroom and the 30watt output is perfect for there. If I was to get this for a living room I’d deffo choose the larger Stanmore model with the 60watt amp. The Bluetooth connection is great and the app to connect to phone works well. Pretty basic app for level and tone control and skipping tracks. The knobs have a nice feel and the lights that increase with the level adjustments are really neat. Overall this is a premium product and is extremely well made and looks great (retro). Not cheap if you’re paying list price. Got this on Black Friday deal so good value at this price. Probably one of the biggest gripes on reviews is how expensive these are so happy to give 5 stars seeing I paid less!

Great sound quality for its size—clear, balanced, and surprisingly powerful bass. The classic Marshall design looks stylish and premium, making it a nice addition to any room. Bluetooth connection is quick and stable, and the physical control knobs are easy and satisfying to use. Overall, a compact but powerful speaker that looks as good as it sounds. Highly recommended!

Amazing quality sound, beautiful design, the buttons are really satisfying to use. This is an all round outstanding speaker especially for the onsale price of £170. It comes beautifully packaged and makes for a lovely gift. It's retro without being too much. You could also take it with you for weekends away if you wanted. Mains powered. Very simple to use. You need to download an app but it's intuitive and you can alter sound settings either from the app or from the buttons on the speaker itself.

Excellent sound, easy to set up, connected quickly to the new Sony vinyl player purchased at the same time! So rich, and despite it not having a base box, the bass is amazing, just enough for the room we’ve set it up in 😁 We saw reviews and decided to go for this and we’re not disappointed. For music lovers in a small space, this is the one the speaker to go for! We also loved the retro style which we wanted to suit the style of the room!

This little mains powered speaker from Marshall is epic, good functionality, beautiful sound recreation, and really well balanced. Clear vocals, detailed treble and rich punchy bass. I've never heard a speaker which just seems to make every genre just sound right. Bluetooth connectivity is simple and App support is good allowing for volume, bass, treble adjustments and options for where you have the speaker positioned in your room. It is powerful enough to provide pleasant background music upto good sing along party volumes in a medium/large room (perfect for our 4m x 5m living room). I primarily decided on this speaker for its compact size and nostalgic looks and it does not disappoint looking great on the shelf above the fireplace. Overall I couldn't be happier with my Marshall bluetooth speaker and think it's great value for money.

Been very happy with this speaker. Nice balanced sound. Good volume without distortion. Looks great. Connects to my phone very well. Happy with it and no issues.

Really good sound and in a variety of places. Great support from the Marshall app as well. The gold colour on the control panel isn't quite as you'd expect and isn't the classic Marshall gold colour you have on their amplifiers. Bluetooth can be a bit temperamental but that's Bluetooth for you rather than Marshall. All in all great sound and good classic controls.

I own Willen , emberton and acton 3 … Acton 3 is really most superior quality speaker that I ever owned. After 1 month of use: We already know pros of it . ( in short : extremely good sound quality ) Let focus on cons ( even the cons are very not con type) and why probably you shouldn’t buy it. 1) not portable: well as its said … it requires power sources … its is advertised well enough still informing if anybody misses 2) its not JBL : now come on , its not like a party box or something that is bass heavy … marshalls specialises in beautiful .. cristal clear sound quality… its sound is really warm. This is the best sounding speaker out there which has bass whatever is required and not more than that… but yea you can increase through the bass knobs … still its a MARSHALL dont treat it like JBL. 3) its not a soundbar : Yes you can watch movies on it ,matter of fact .. I have purposely attached the video with movie dialogue to listen and judge… though it is really impressive but it does not have wider soundstage and well it is front facing too. It is a bluetooth speaker used to music listening… you will get some kind of distortion while watching movies or series ( this just maybe my tv problem , please try with your tv ) but still its not a soundbar and sound system with 5.1 channels do not expect more from this. ( this speaker does not do justice while wathing movie , it spund far superior while listening to music ) ( maybe though this is my tv problem … still a caution for people who are deciding to buy for watching movies ). 4) its has warm signature : because its has warm sound signature … they are heaven to listen to hindi songs and some english songs but for edms and stuff which are more bass driven ( they do sound fabulous ) but missing that party vibe going on … but what do you expect you are buying marshall to listen to warm tones …. 5) its is front facing : well it does fills the room well with sound but the best sound you get is when you sit in front of it…
