Very good and high quality gloves!
I have decided to invest in better quality gloves with more wrist protection and these were a very good choice! Very well-made and they feel very good.Boxing becomes another experience with good gloves. It is much better to save and invest in a good pair of gloves (that will last more) than to buy cheap gloves that will not deliver the same quality and experience and will have to be replaced much sooner!

Top tier straight up boxing glove.
I bought 14oz BGV9-s for my pad and bag work. They arrive VERY stiff, be sure to break them in slowly. in this period it might feel painful, not comfortable etc. but give it 2-3 weeks, foam will mold on your hand and it might become your fave glove. fit is really good, I am 6ft4 180 pounds with normal hands, it fits me excellently with big wraps.has a great pop on bags and pads, but please do not use in sparring unless you really dislike your sparring partner, as it feels like a brick. As I am a muay thai fighter, BGV1-s are a better option for me, especially in sparring and partner drills. BGV9-s really require that you have a perfect form. if you like sneaking in shots by bending your wrist, it is nearly impossible in these gloves. your form has to be near textbook. it is also not the best for clinching because of the wrist support it provides, but it is doable. blocking kicks with these is also not as good as in other gloves.Overall, very very good boxing and pad/bagwork glove, if you are combo puncher and mainly a boxer, it is a must have essentially.

Good
Really good quality but there is only one defect nothing that affects performance though. They are very comfortable with great wrist support. The padding is good but I would say you're better off breaking the gloves in with faces in sparring since you'd probably wear out the padding too soon if you hit the heavy bag every day.

Great for sparring and heavy bag (14oz)
Great product! Happy with this purchase and good for sparring and heavy bag workouts. Just wished the glove bar was a little closer to the wrist, but I have short hands.

Outstanding gloves but...
When my old gloves broke down I did a lot of research on what gloves to buy next. This brand was recommended to me by a friend and I am very happy I listened. I chose these (Mexican boxing style) over the classic Muay Thai gloves because I primarily do boxing workouts on a heavy bag and opted for the superior wrist support these provide. They took some time to break in but when they did I fell in love. I take great care of them and after a few months of continuous use, they still look brand new. I love the wrist support as well as the grab bar within the forefingers. Just be sure to tuck in your thumbs when punching, it only takes one punch to remember that the small piece of leather that attaches to the end of the thumb creates a hotspot that feels like it's separating my thumbnail from my thumb. Other than that I absolutely love the "CRACK" they make when they hit the heavy bag just right.
