This is the best filter system I have used so far. Have been using for backpacking and hunting and it's been great. Love the way the filter stores inside so that it makes a nice compact package.

very happy with this. I spend a great deal of time in the backcountry. These are lightweight, durable, and efficient.

My son spent 2 months with the Maasai Tribe learning center in conjunction with Prescott College of AZ. He loved the ease of use and taste, especially with the travel camel bag carrier we purchased. Magnificent and necessary items.

Filters great, large capacity, and quick. Hose plugged right into the QD on my water bladder. Minus one star because it is hard to fill in slow moving water. I had to cut a corner from a gallon zip lock bag, fill that with water, and use that to fill the bladder. Overall, very useful.

Haven’t try it yet but should be perfect for our boat trip in other countries.

Great filter, works super well and fast. This is my second one, bought it as a backup in case I lose the other one.

I took this as our groups primary water filter on a fishing trip to Canada. The lake we stayed at was a cedar lake and had dark reddish colored water. Our group of 4 drank safely from the filtered lake water. Although it is unlikely there were many contaminants in the lake water, we did not want to chance it and ruin our fishing trip. It easily was filled a few times a day and just hang around doing its thing! The filtered water still had a slight color tint to it but tasted great. Saved us lots of weight flying into the camp. Make sure to read the instructions on proper cleaning/storing the filter unit. Even if you don't store/clean properly the filter itself can be replaced easily. Seems like a durable piece of equipment.

Easy to replace

Works great, pretty standard, I personally like to hang my filter on a tree and have a communal water filter for friends when camping! Is a bit slow but works fine when not crammed for time. I like it.

Worked well. We took it on a back county trip to Algonquin and didn’t end up with any bugs, etc. We did have to backwash it pretty frequently, likely due to the vegetation and other floaters in the lake.
