very happy with this. I spend a great deal of time in the backcountry. These are lightweight, durable, and efficient.

Filters great, large capacity, and quick. Hose plugged right into the QD on my water bladder. Minus one star because it is hard to fill in slow moving water. I had to cut a corner from a gallon zip lock bag, fill that with water, and use that to fill the bladder. Overall, very useful.

My son spent 2 months with the Maasai Tribe learning center in conjunction with Prescott College of AZ. He loved the ease of use and taste, especially with the travel camel bag carrier we purchased. Magnificent and necessary items.

This is the best filter system I have used so far. Have been using for backpacking and hunting and it's been great. Love the way the filter stores inside so that it makes a nice compact package.

Worked well. We took it on a back county trip to Algonquin and didn’t end up with any bugs, etc. We did have to backwash it pretty frequently, likely due to the vegetation and other floaters in the lake.

I pack this everywhere I go to work, my job requires me to work in remote communities, which they never have clean drinking water. The cost of a case of bottled water could be $100 (IF THEY HAVE THE SUPPLY). The Arctic communities have limited supply of food/water. This filter stays in my work bag, easy to use, light n compact and very affordable. I highly recommend LIFESTRAW for campers, hikers or people who travel to remote places.
