Genuine Leather Dress Belt (1 1/4" wide) with Solid Automatic Buckle

Aside from the obviously great 1.25" leather belt with high-tech catches for the buckle, I was amazed by the high-tech and heavy duty shiny brass buckle, technically a "finding". I don't think I've ever seen a buckle this cool before! and I was a leatherworker for some years. It might just be worth the price for the buckle. Oh, and did I mention it is very easy to trim with shears to the exact length you want, it's one-size-fits-all. I'' wear this everywhere.

These a perfect fit with a clean look, and I love these belts because as i shed inches off all i have to do is remove a little more leather and reattach the buckle. Must buy and I plan on getting more

It's not as good as a higher quality competitor's product that I had received for my birthday. I really liked the sliding belt idea and thought this would be a good alternative for the price. It was 30% cheaper. But after trying out both products, I will pay the extra $15 next time and get the better, higher quality product. Couple of things I didn't like as much, the belt is not as thick (the width is the same) and the buckle is not as good a design. Overall though, this is a good belt and definitely worth the price.

nice belt, buckle well made But after a year the belt began to split from inside.. Definitely Not leather by any means! luckily I can buy a replacement and reuse buckle.

UPDATE: I had to replace this belt at about the years mark, the belt itself was cracking on the inside, however this is probably my husbands fault for generally being careless with his belt (something i pointed out in my original review) the buckle is in better condition than the buckle of the new belt when it was used for about the same time. I am still leaving the 5 stars as this belt was kind of abused and honestly held up rather well, especially the buckle, a replacement of the actual belt piece to use with the buckle would be perfect. Bought this for my husband for Christmas, though it is not as easy to undo as his old belt (where you just unhook the buckle from the belt hole) he does love this belt, after cutting it down twice to his size it was just a matter of getting use to it. He's never had a belt like this and does enjoy that it is so easy to get the tightness he needs or if he needs to loosen it just a little. We have almost always had to make our own holes in his belts as usually they are to big, become to big or one hole is too small but the next to big. The buckle is really beautiful (I wanted something simple) and is a good weight, the leather is nice looking and thick feeling. If my husband takes care of this belt (as in not leaving it on the floor to get abused) it will last a good time. I'm getting another for my father.

The belt came and at first I was satisfied with the looks and the make up. However it was not, NOT, a ratchet belt as described. But, I kept it because it seemed to function. So I got it in Dec. 2017. Then 6/20/2018, six months later the thing falls apart. Now six months could mean it saw some wear. But, I only used the belt maybe 15-20 times during that time period and it was not heavy use. I had it on a pair of pants that I wore to hike with the dog. Due to the time of year the hikes were on flat grounds and only lasted about 45 minutes. One might think that in that length of time I should have had more usage, but I wore heavy lined pants during some of the time, the 'yard' pants that I had been working the yard in the rest of the time so none of my pants had too much use. I guess you get what you pay for. The pin on one side either broke off, or simply fell out making the buckle useless.

Once you get used to operating the ratchet, it's a fantastic belt. Been wearing it daily for a few months now with no issues. Once it locks in, it doesn't move. Very easy to open and lock in place. Looks fantastic and was a great price.

A wonderful belt that gives more freedom for adjustment and ease of use. The only complaint I have is how much the metal component holds up to wear. The top clear coat seems to give out and creates an aesthetically unpleasing apearance after only a couple months of regular use in an active professional environment. I am rarely outside and rarely have anything scratch it, so it disappoints me with how easily it wears out. However, It still works great mechanically and the weather has held up extremely well, so it isn't a bad working belt.
