Self clean out litter tray
When I seen this I thought yeah right a cat tray cleaning it self I'm now kicking my self for thinking of this due to the fact that it does what it says and all you need to do is empty the handle part from the cat tray and you cat litter is clean and ready for your cat or kitten to use again. My kitten loves it she's using it all the time She's making the cat tray work hard so she is really testing it out bless her The cost is fine Set up was a little awkward due to had to look at the manual over 3 times but given me a good jigsaw job The smell of the cat litter tray after my kitten has used it is okay not much of a smell like normal cat trays at all Package with what it came in was big but tight to which I was pleased with cause stuff like this can break duing transit The step for my kitten is brilliant she loves using it The only thing that I would advise is putting a cat door on to give your cat some type of privacy cause when I went to check on my kitten while she was doing her toilet I got a dirty look as if she is saying to me do I mind Over all I think it has saved the cat litter being wasted and it has a good feeling about it I'm glad that my kitten really loves it she feels like queen bless her. Easy to use I can handle it well and great as I like it my self the ease of removal of the handle is fantastic and easy and yes I would really recommend this to all thoughs that is looking for a cat tray as this cat tray does exactly what it says on here And who ever came up with this idea thank you it is the very best idea you cam up with

Best 'self clean' none electrical litter box
* update 25.05.2024 beware the plastic is flimsy in places. 2nd phot shows split where top thin piece meets rest of the top. The split is where the soft top first .let's the floor when rolling. I bought this XL version to make my life easier as my hand grip isn't what it used to be. I found the whole box is easy to roll as you have the weight of the litter helping it along. Lumps that stick to the bottom are easily removed by giving the bottom of the box a few slaps of your hand when its upside down to loosen them up. The fill level is easily seen. My cats preferred this box over their old one as they rarely use it now which is a problem in a multi-cat household (Means I'll need another one of these). The metal clasps hold the whole thing together well. No problems with pee escaping the sides when my cat stands to urinate. What would I change? I would make the pull out drawer bigger or deeper so it holds big clumps easily. I have to roll twice as multiple cats make a lot of waste. I would make the bottom part deeper for cats that pee standing up. I would make an XXL version for bigger cats as my 6kg cat just about fits.4

Overpriced
This product is cheaply made over priced and poosibly the worst i have bought from Amazon. The side clips dont keep the top and bottom secure allowing litter to escape. Money back please.

It's OK
I've 2 cats who both insist on using a litter tray even though they have access to outdoors. I was considering buying a robot self cleaning litter box but have heard some cats are scared by them and due to the cost didn't want to take a chance. I saw this advertised and thought it would be a good compromise. The Good. It has cut down on the amount of litter we're using and wasting. It's easy to roll the waste into the wast drawer and then refill the main part with clean litter - most of the time it works as described. It's massively cut down on smells - the different litter may also have helped. Comes apart easily for refilling and cleaning. It's big enough if like me you've got large cats. The not so good. It's big - although it's also a positive hence why I've listed it above, you also need to ensure you have somewhere you can place it out of the way. The fact it has two compartments means it's twice as big it would otherwise be. It feels a bit flimsy. Some parts of it just don't feel quality and the top of the filter part is already splitting after only a month or so. It could do with a catch on the right side. There are four catches, one at the front, two on the left side and one on the rear. It could really do with something on the right side - especially as this is where the filter and waste drawer are located and where you "roll" the waste. I'd argue that this is the most important place to put the catches. Because of the above the right side never seems to sit flush. This means the filter lifts slightly and comes out of its slots on the bottom and therefore doesn't work as it should. You end up having to take it apart, roll all the litter to one side and refit the filter. This is also probably contributing to the top of the filter splitting. Wet litter tends to stick to the bottom, it does say on the underside to tap to help remove this but I find I still have to resort to scooping out some if the waste. In summary, it does what it's supposed to - most of the time. I worry that the fact it is starting to split in places already doesn't bode well for it lasting long but it has made me believe that my cats would be OK with a self cleaning robot litter box in future.

I’ve stopped rolling it
I have given up rolling this product over as it’s a bit hit and miss as to whether a lot of the clumps - of wee especially - come out in the drawer. I thought it may be because I wasn’t using enough litter but even if it is several inches deep, the wee seems to stick to the floor of the tray so that it needs to be shovelled off. Maybe the cat just does big wees here. In a way it’s good because it means I don’t have to keep cleaning the inside roof of poo smears. In a future incarnation, I would like to see the silver handles made of sturdier plastic as I keep thinking they are going to break.

Works really well.
We left some used cat litter in the box to encourage the cat to use it. Only downside is when cleaning the box, runny poos get stuck to the roof. You also have to ensure the scoop is in the groove to keep it in place when turning it over.

Schnelle und einfache Montage, super zu reinigen. Kann ich klar empfehlen.

This litter box is really awesome! Assembly is easy, and once assembled a few maneuvers move clumped litter into an easy to pull out scoop. The scoop is shaped to easily slide out the clumped litter into a bag for disposal. It does take some floor space as the unit needs to be turned on its side and slightly over beyond that for the litter clumps to get into the pull out scoop. There's also a little effort needed to even out the litter when it's turned back in place. Nothing hard about it, it just needs a little shifting on its left edge to level it out. To me, it's so much easier than manually sifting litter through a scoop and dumping each scoop load into a bag. The unit is a little bulky but serves its purpose perfectly. The plastic is thin and a little flimsy but but I believe if it's handled with a decent amount of care it should last for years.

UPDATE: now april 2022. We are still using this litter box and have had no issues with the casing cracking, the lid clips breaking. It is still in perfect shape and still the best and easiest litter box we have ever used. We have designated a closet as our litter room and we turn the box back wards so the cats have to jump on top and climb in, this helps reduce the amount of litter the track out as they have to get out slowly! I had originally bought one of the expensive automatic litter boxes thinking it would be WAY better than having this one that required you to flip it on it's side. But I had so many issues with the automatic one (NOT THIS ONE). Litter kept sticking to the bottom and turning into mud. The giant scoop thingy didn't really got low enough and kept getting stuck. Plus the gaps between it were so big that a lot of poo/pee clumps were able to get through it or at times would get flung out by the force of it getting stuck. I tried different litters but gave up. Even aside from those issues, it was very hard/messy to empty the tray. After I gave up on the automatic box, I purchased this one and was incredibly surprised but how much easier, cleaner, and faster it was to use. You just flip it on it's side, plus I give it a few taps to knock off anything stuck, put it back down, and remove the tray, dump it into the garbage, and put the tray back in. It almost has like a filter, and when you tilt it on it's side, all the good litter goes through the filter into the other side of the box leaving all the waste which falls into the tray as you're tilting further. Originally I didn't understand how it worked but it's a very good design. I just wish I would have gotten it earlier. It still astonishes me as to how much faster and easier it is to use than an expensive automatic one.
