I started out with a different brand of vitex extract 225mg the day before Christmas, I took my first capsule on Cycle Day 2 (second day of my last period). Although it worked wonders for my pms, I missed a period in Jan or I was just very very late (by 3 weeks). So, after reading tons of reviews on Solaray brand, I switched to Solaray. After two days of use, my period started. I feel like the potency here is more than the other brand I was using because it has the 100mg fruit as well. That's just my guess. I started vitex 2 months after coming off birth control. Coming off birth control was a bumpy ride! I tried progesterone cream to help with the luteal phase moods, but it caused problems with my cycle and in between spotting so is topped using it. I decided to start the vitex. It has been amazing for my PMDD, seriously! In comparison to my mood chart in months prior, my symptoms were so minimal this first cycle on vitex. No meltdown, no crying, no major anxiety (just slight here and there leading up to cycle), slight irritability but nothing huge like before, and physical symptoms decreased. Breast tenderness gone, some cramping, lower back pain still an issue for me. I do feel like I'm in control more, like I can let things slide past easily whereas before vitex, boy step aside! I have been taking vitex for 1.5 months now. This is my first cycle and so far I am loving this product. It is so much better than dealing with the havoc of birth control. I am only taking one capsule 225mg per day in the morning, before breakfast. I think that is enough for me. After everything i have read, this extract seems more potent than the fruit which seems to work with more capsules taken daily. i plan on taking continuosly through cycle and all with no stopping as i have read the benefits come from long term use. Just as the title says, i am using vitex for PMDD symptoms and cycle regulation NOT for fertility. On a side note, the bottle was a little different than the picture but still same name, ingredients etc. It was very inexpensive to other brands. Shipping was very fast. Taste is a little icky on the outside but no after taste at all. The solaray brand is new for me given that i was taking another brand for the las few weeks. This solaray brand did what i needed it to so i am going to continue taking for sure. I can update in a couple of months! Update since last post! So things were going very well with this product. mood drastically changed for the better but something is off with my cycles and unfortunately i have not had a period now in 3 months. After tons of reading i believe i may have to up my dose to the suggested 2 pills in the morning as i have only been taking one. Either that or i should switch to the fruit capsules only which are less potent but have success it seems for other people. I will note that the bottle I received suggested one capsule per day but the bottle on the site says 1-2 per day. This whole time I was only taking one pill per the directions. I’m increasing to 2 pills to see if a stronger dose helps kick start flo again.

When I found this product for my daughter, she was 20 years old and just diagnosed with PCOS. She had moderate beard growth, very overweight, and extremely painful periods. I found Vitex Chaste Berry Extract, and I started giving my daughter two capsules per day. There have been no side effects from taking this product. My daughter went back to the endocrinologist 6 months later for another blood test. I admitted to the doctor that my daughter had not taken the meds he had prescribed - that we had tried her on Vitex for the past 6 months. I promised him that if the blood test showed no improvement in her testosterone level, we would start her on the meds. Lo and behold, when the results of the blood test came back, my daughter's testosterone level was reduced to one-half of the previous level--and it is back in the middle of the normal range!! I was thrilled! This is a great product, and I highly recommend it for lowering testosterone levels in a female.

No side effects. Fast results. I like that this brand has a lower dosage than most others that are unnecessarily high. I started using it because I got off the birth control pill after 10+ years and it resulted in my body just not having a period for over 2 months. Within 4 days of taking this supplement in the morning on an empty stomach my period came. It really works.

Hace su función y se tragan bien pk no son muy grandes. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Es el segundo bote,y en el primero y mi primera menstruación ya fue increíble el cambio no lo creía, lo que si me han salido muchos granitos en la cara.Pero para el sangrado abundante da resultados.

Tengo la prolactina alta, y hacía mucho que no tenía el periodo. Ha sido tomar 1 bote del producto y me ha bajado con normalidad. Seguiré 6 meses más y luego haré analítica para saber si este producto ayuda a regular dicha hormona.

hace ya cuatro meses que lo tomo por el sop y no he notado ninguna diferencia, quizá todavía sea pronto ya que he oído que pueden pasar meses o años en ver resultados.

hace años que las tomo y van bastante bien. He probado otras marcas pero no me han convencido
