I naïvely thought this product was a joke at first
When my OT recommended these to me- I honestly through she was joking... Wow was I wrong. These continue to help build the “nerve functions”, strength and smooth moving-ness of my violin hand... on top of that- when my mom (who has really bad arthritis in her hands) came for a visit, I noticed she kept grabbing and playing with one of them (constantly squeezing the ball in the center with her fingers all the time). Whelp, she went home and one of the three from the box mysteriously migrated back to Canada with her!?!? When I asked her about it, she said it was really helping her with being able to relax her hand and deal with some of the pain. Now technically speaking i am not a dr... But I KNOW my mom and the pain she deals with... So when she says something helps her, I know it really helps... Anyways thank you so much for carrying this awesome product! The End

I actually do like this product
First, this isn't a great looking product. But form follows function. It does strengthen your finger and hand muscles. Whenever I use it, they are sore...well the back of my fingers/hands are sore. The squeezing is there, but other devices are better. I've only had it a couple weeks and it has held up. But I fear tearing the finger holes out unless I use the toughest one. So I have to warm up with the others carefully. It's a good product...especially for the back of your hands/fingers as you can hit them at many angles. It just requires care when using.

For S or M sized hands, not L or XL
Works better with small or medium sized hands. If you opt for a L or XL glove, this stress ball won't work. I use XL gloves and the holes were too small for my fingers, and the ball was too small.

Great exercise
Great exercise. I thought it was the lighter one for beginners. I will definitely look for that one.

Soft and flexible enough for arthritic fingers
Read a ton of reviews and bought another 'hand strengthener' 3 piece (soft, medium, strong) that I returned as they were far too hard for me to manipulate with my weak fingers. This is just a single hand exerciser that is the softest and I was able to use the first day I got it. Nice to have finger holes spread around so it doesn't matter which I put thumb in versus other fingers, and the stretch is very forgiving (but it does give my fingers a workout so have to be careful not to overdo). The ball in the middle is nice to work closed hand and finger exercises, but the main benefit for me is the finger pull out stretches to give the opposing muscles some strengthening work (we are so accustomed to clenching out fingers into a fist or clamshell for lifting objects that only one set of muscles get over-used). I like this product and would recommend for anyone with fingers/hands that need therapeutic exercise to strengthen.

Great idea, poor execution.
I have arthritis and tried this product because I wanted to strengthen my fingers through resistance training (typical of what you will use when you go to physical therapy). I also wanted to minimize the number of exercises I would need to do to exercise both my hand and forearm muscles, so I wanted to find something that would allow me to exercise everything simultaneously. I did see similar products listed on Amazon but reviews seemed to indicate those finger holes (especilly the thumb) often broke. This product didn't seem like it could have that kind of problem (thick finger holes). And opting for the "added benefit" proffered through purchasing all three of these varying tension items seemed to be a no-brainer. HUGE MISTAKE. First of all, someone really dropped the ball in quality control because I can't possibly see how this was made with the adult hand in mind!!! My hands are not huge by any means, yet my fingers could barely fit into any of the finger holes of either one of two "higher-tension" balls. But for some reason I was able to stretch the holes of the lightest tension pink ball over my fingers, but WOW, did I had have one heck of a time doing it! Second, in my opinion, the gel ball in the center of these things are WAY too small. You will find yourself using your finger tips too squeeze it when you contract your hand in order to squeeze it. The ball simply doesn't rest in that part of your palm, where you would expect it to, because of both its small size and the fact that the fingers would practically have to be pushed completely through the holes in order for the ball in the center to get anywhere near your palm! (and believe me, unless you don't mind pulling the gel rubber finger holes all the way down to the base of your fingers and cutting off the circulation to them in the process, there is NO chance of that happening !!!) Last but least, after unnecessarily second-guessing myself multiple times and REALLY trying to make some use out of the lowest-tension ball, I can't begin to tell you how much pain I felt in my hands and wrist for literally the ENTIRE WEEK after using it JUST that ONE TIME. I have been to physical therapy many times, I'm a fairly well-educated person, and I even worked several years in the fitness industry before the onset of my arthritis. I can tell you assuredly, I didn't do anything out of the ordinary or remotely excessive for such a inordinate amount of pain to result. Great idea, poor execution.
