OBSBOT MEET 4K Webcam

I am not a tech expert, so I will leave detailed reviews to others. I have however used many webcams in my time, so, this is my summary after putting it to use. The branded box is very impressive, although I found it impossible not to rip apart the outside cover. The inside box presentation was of the type you would expect from a top-of-the-range mobile phone brand, see pics. Impressively it includes: Magnetic bracket for mounting onto a monitor. USB-C to USB-C cable. USB-C to USB-A adapter (a very useful extra). Privacy lens cap. Brief instructions booklet. What struck me immediately was that the camera is tiny, approx. 6x4 cm. It has the USB connector on the back and a status button on top. The latter is used to simply toggle between auto framing on/off, virtual background on/off, and to put it into sleep mode. The magnetic bracket is great, as the camera simply sits on top once in position. It also has a standard connector for a stand or tripod. It allows the camera to be placed in a vertical or horizontal position, see video. The picture quality is excellent, and the sound is clear. Although it is plug and play, to get the most of the webcam’s capabilities you need to download Osbot Meetcam software from their website, it was easy to do and what’s more the software was very easy to work with straight away. The auto framing works smoothly, there is a second group mode, which is great for families and friends online meets.

I’m extremely impressed with this webcam. The image quality is fantastic having nice clear clarity and good colours in the image. The build quality is fantastic feels like a sturdy camera. Paired with the PC app is where this camera shines as it’s packed with amazing features. I could easy control the settings and enjoyed features from auto focusing, anti flicker and the ability for the camera to track me, so when I move back the camera zooms in if I my right the camera follows my movements right which is a features I was impressed with. The microphone is also quality quite good but I do find it’s quite harsh on the Ts, Ps and Ss. The camera does feel very toasty whilst in action which should be something to be wary of, but overall I think this is an amazing camera that performs well and exceeded my expectations. Recommended. Since I replaced my desktop pc I haven’t really had a need to replace my webcam until recently, so I thought I would give this one a try. The product was well packaged and in the box you get, the 4k Meet Obsbot webcam, a magnetic mounting bracket, a USB-C to USB-C Power cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter, a privacy and lens projector, a nice little travel bag with the instructions. The camera is small as you would expect at approximately 5.6cm x 4.4cm x3.2 and build quality is amazing and it looks very professional. The installation was quick and painless and once everything was connected and ready to go, I did some testing. What is really cool is the auto framing feature. When it goes from single mode to group mode, this is really helpfully when there is more than one person in the frame. The HDR works really well and I can personally see the difference it makes to the video quality. The auto focus is also pretty cool and the camera didn’t struggle figuring out what I wanted it to focus on. What also really like it the privacy cover supplied, this give me some extra conference that my camera isn’t filming or broadcast unless I’m in control. Overall, I’m really pleased with the webcam. I feel it’s a bit on the more expensive side if you just need a webcam for causal use but if you need all these camera features for your profession this is a good option to consider.

The webcam arrives in high-end packaging similar to a mobile phone and consists of the webcam, a USB-C to USB-C cable, a USB-A to USB-C adapter, a magnetic mount, an attachable lens cover for privacy and some basic instructions. The webcam is metal and has a tripod mounting hole on the bottom but also comes with a magnetic mount and I had no problem in attaching the mount on my All-in-One PC although I did find that the vertical adjustment by angling the magnetic plate was a bit fiddly. I used the webcam on a Windows PC and downloaded the OSBOT MEET software from the Osbot site and I then connected the webcam which was quickly found and I updated the software, which was easy to do. The app gives access to a lot of parameters such as field of view, focus for individuals or groups, ability to blur the background, change to blue or green screen or upload your own background etc. The ability to blur or replace the background are beta features and there is some colour fringing around the subject. As you would expect, picture quality and sound are excellent. This is a high quality, versatile webcam and would be ideal for use in an office environment where there could be an individual or a group but is also useful for individual use where high quality is important.

This has some bells and whistles but not all of them, but more importantly it's built extremely well, has a very clever magnetic mounting system, and the image quality is impressive.

Works with a number of options and can create an artificial background or use and existing picture of anything you like. Work and friends don't get to see your messy room.

La cámara tiene gran calidad y en conjunto con el software integrado hacen muy bien su trabajo, es 4k pero solo a 30fps, si quieres 60fps tendrás que usar 1080. La cámara es metálica porque el cuepo sirve como disipador de calor, ósea se calienta más de lo que yo esperaba, hasta el momento no ha sido un problema, trae un accesorio magnético para que la sujetes a un monitor, pero también cuenta con rosca para trípode yo en lo personal uso un mini trípode.

Endlich gibt es eine kleine Webcam die schnell und einfach im 4K Modus unter Windows 10 funktioniert. Die Einrichtung der Webcam war super einfach, Windows holt sich nach Neustart die nötigen Treiber alles dauerte 3 Minuten, der Download der OBSBOT WebCam Software und ein Firmware Update wurde mir nach Treiber Installation vorgeschlagen und wurde auch gleich durchgeführt. Diese Webcam macht Spaß, ist klein, handlich und sitzt auf Notebook Display und auf großen Monitor sehr fest. Die Benutzung am Monitor, auf einen zweiten Windows 10 Rechner mit NVIDIA Quadro Grafikkarte erfolgt ausschließlich im 4K Modus, dafür habe ich mir ein kürzeres USB C auf USB C 4K@60Hz Kabel für Videoübertragung besorgt und damit scheint alles noch flüssiger zu laufen. Ich bin mit dieser Webcam sehr zufrieden, sie erfüllt alle meine Wünsche.
