This is very dark green, darker than expected. It's beautiful but very very dark green. It will fade to a brighter shade over time, but expect this one to be DARK for a while. If you want brighter, maybe try Pulp Riot's Absinthe instead.

I’m going to stick to Pravana, I only use this because Pravana Green has a lot of blue in it, I wanted a true or green, but this one is very dull looking. I will say that after putting this on and putting green on top, it’s a beautiful teal color!!!

**FLY TRAP IS NOT NATURALLY THIS DARK**I’ve been doing my green hair for nearly a decade now. I’ve tried all the brands - manic panic enchanted forest, lunar tides juniper green, good dye young move mountains, arctic fox, pravana peacock, etc. this is by far my favorite — TRUE GREEN, not turquoise.I mix 2 parts flytrap to 1 part arctic fox Transylvania to get this color. It fades out to a medium green which skews blue (but less blue than other combos I’ve tried). Highly recommend. This mixture also tints my natural level 4 brown hair black-green.Photos show day after dying in natural light and then with phone flash.

I’d like to preface this with the information that my hair was a bleach level of about a 7 or 8 so it was fairly light. Overall it’s a pretty color and a good dye but it did not come out dark green at all. It’s more like grass green so if you’re looking for a dark color I’d suggest another dye or hair that isn’t as light as mine was.

It covered my faded blue green hair perfectly and tinted my brown roots just enough that it blended nicely. I really love Pulp Riot for all vivid hair colors, nothing else works as well. It lasts longer and has less color transfer (on clothes, towels, sheets etc) than any other semi permanent dye I've tried. This is my third one and I'll try other colors for sure.
