The 6.5 qt size is perfect. The color is beautiful. The design is great. Performance in terms of being non-stick and without harmful chemicals is just as claimed. And, the weight is exactly what I wanted--finding cast iron just too heavy. It's not feather-wt and thin which could cause burning of food; it's heavy enough to distribute heat, but light enough to make it easier to lift when full.

This Dutch oven cleans easily and cooks evenly. Ordering a sauté pan next to work on switching all my cookware over to caraway.

It is a wonderful addition to our cookware collection.

I must say that I have been purchasing Caraway pots and pans for the last couple of years. This was my most recent purchase which was in July. I don't have too many occasions to use this as a dutch oven but, I use it as a soup pot and pasta cooker. I haven't used it to bake bread yet either, it hasn't been cool enough to bake bread until recently.That said I do like these pans. They do heat up rather quickly. There is no need, and it's recommended that medium heat is the highest setting for heat.What I don't like is that the lids have a hole in the top to allow steam to escape. If using it as a dutch oven you will need to keep an eye on the liquid in the pot. Also, the lids have only a small rim and any accumulated moisture will pour onto your stove top if you are not careful.These are very good pots, reasonably light, (compared to my Le Cruset pots), and relatively non-stick. The only thing that i have seen stick was some sticky rice that I was heating in a smaller pan.The ceramic coating is very good, and has lasted a couple of years. In fact I believe that Consumer Reports rated this their top ceramic interior coated pans. The outside enamel is a little prone to staining. ButThe handles will get hot after a while so use caution, and a pot holder.I also bought the steamer insert. It works as expected.I would give the Caraway pots and pans a 4.5 * rating.
