Super Light! Super Cozy!
I have not even made it to the woods yet to give this new sleeping bag a thorough breaking in. But of course I have already slept in it half a dozen times even though it was indoors. And I am already so impressed that I decided I could give a fair review based on what I already know.1. I carry a lot of heavy photography gear so my number one priority was to cut weight. Although I already have a nice +5 degree Teton bag, which is super comfortable, it unfortunately is fiber and therefore weighs 4.1 lbs. This bag weighs 2.2 lbs! I just saved enough weight for one DLSR body and at least one lens!2. I am left handed and wanted a right side zipper. This bag, in the Large size, has an excellent right side zipper that is much easier to use than any of my other bags.3. It compresses super small and then practically inflates to super fluffy and lofty.4. I need it to be 4-season. Although I have yet to go camping since it arrived, I have literally turned the heat off in my home during a rather cold week of temperatures in the mid 20s, about 45 inside my house, and found it to be very warm and very comfortable. With 1040g of Goose Down, I am confident it will keep me warm thru the lower 40s and probably even into the lower 30s as advertised.5. The mummy hood cinches easily around my head and face, but still allows enough room for my backpacking pillow.6. The baffles; side, shoulders, and face really complete this bag. They are so light and comfortable you can't even tell they are there except that you can literally feel the warm envelope of air they create around your body, and even your face. Awesome!7. Price! I researched bags for months before settling on this one. There simply is not another bag with this temperature rating, 800 fill/1040g goose down, and with this level of quality to design and detailing for under $250.Some quick responses to some concerns raised by other reviewers.1. One person complained that the draw string was stitched over at one end and therefore could not be pulled. Actually, if that reviewer is referring to the draw string and stitch that I think they are, it is designed this way. It is a little weird to get used to if you have not previously used a draw string that pulls from one side and cinches to a dedicated point. Many bags do have draw strings that can be pulled from both sides. But as I mentioned, as weird as it might seem at first, I find that it works rather well once you get the hang of it; it is just a different way of cinching the hood than one might be accustomed to. On the other hand, that reviewer was able to remove that stitching, thus "customizing" the bag to his liking. Kudos to his problem solving abilities!2. Another reviewer was disappointed that his bag had a bad smell. I do feel for that buyer and suggest he return the bag for a new one. Who wants to sleep all night with their nose stuck in a stinky mummy bag?! Since I had read that review before making my purchase, it was one of the first things I checked when the bag arrived. The good news is that mine has absolutely no odor of any kind, bad or otherwise. So hopefully that was just an isolated incident. Finally, I am long and lanky, so my bag fits well. Still, I did notice that it seems a bit more trim than some bags; enough that I noticed, particularly at my shoulders which are fairly broad. Depending on your body type and size you might want to take this into consideration..if your bag is too snug, you will probably develop cold spots during the night. But for my money, this sleeping bag is perfect!I am very happy with my purchase!

Some good some not so good.
One of the Draw string was stitched over, such that it could not be pulled. I was able to unstick the draw string over the hood with a knife, so user fixable issue in this case. Also I am 5'8' The description said the inside measurement was 176CM, or 69 inches (5'9"). I found that pretty snug. Beyond that, the sleeping bag, was lofty, and otherwise useable. So I can give it 3 stars. In my opinion it runs a little small, and you may run into stitching defects. That said, who can beet the price? Most other Sleeping bags of this quality of down are closer to $300, so I would still give it a week buy, with the two above mentioned caveats.

Large is kinda small for bigger guys
I bought the "large" version of this bag. I am a bigger guy at 5'7" and around 225 pounds. When it is fully zipped up it is very snug around my chest and shoulders and there isn't a lot of wiggle room. Guess I need to loose some weight. After using it one time that is my only gripe. Will have to see how it goes on other trips.I just wanted to give folks an idea how it fit in case your looking at the Ageismax "Large" bag and happen to be a bit larger individual.
