Keep the under part where the ball fits from your broken one
You can use this on the rugged ridge phone holder for your jeep. Just make sure you take out the rubber piece in the old phone holder and install in the new one . Works just fine. Would have given it 5 stars if they included the rubber piece where the ball fits. Will see how long it lasts. At least there are 2 of them for a good price

Awesome replacement clamp
I like that these are universal. I purchased to replace the one that broke on my Maxi climber. This installed easily and has been a great and affordable fix! It holds my iPhone 14pro max with no problems! I like the all black/neutral tone to these vs the others that are colorful. I’ve got no complaints, I really like these!

Saved my ring light
Fit my ring light perfectly, it was easy to replace. I just unscrewed the old broken part and screwed on the new one. Nice price, so I happy I don’t have to replace my entire ring light because of one piece.

Had to sand down the nut so that it would get tight enough
It's OK but the nut bottoms out before it would get tight enough to stop moving when clipping in my phone. I sanded the nut down using 120 grit sandpaper that I had handy. I was able to sand the nut to be thinner and allow it to tighten down on a 17mm ball mount. I wanted to use this to hold a phone in a car but I thought that is was not easy to use with constant use and ended up switching to a MagSafe phone case and phone holder.

Perfect replacement for Rugged Ridge clamp
Perfect replacement for Rugged Ridge clamp which broke after a few months of sun exposure. The rubber clamp arms broke due to the constant exposure to the sun. Only concern is the retractable arms are plastic vs the metal for the Rugged Ridge but I have them for about 3 months and several off road trips with no problems. The arms grip the iPhone better and are sturdier design.
