Trying to buy a tree collar, how far from the floor do branches start?

I just bought one for my tree and it is 20" tall. I have not put my tree up completely yet but, it appears it will fit just perfect.

How many tips does the 6.5 ft tree have?

Not sure exactly how many tips, but it's very full once you spread out the branches. Very satisfied.
