Q: Im considering buying these for my 3 and 4 year olds. Would this be good for their ages?

My 3 year old son pulled the eye pieces off which allowed the small lenses to be removed. The lenses are obviously a choking hazard so I exchanged them assuming it was a bad pair. The second pair they sent me came apart within the first hour also. I would not buy these if there is a chance your child may put small objects in their mouth.

I think it will fit a 5 year old, but I wouldn't buy it again. It's magnification is barely noticeable, and the string that goes around the neck is a thin nylon cord, capable of cutting into skin if pulled on very hard, or getting a rope burn. I'd keep looking.

Perfectly kid sized

These are great kid binoculars - the size is perfect for little hands. I got them for my 2 year-old grandson and he won't put them down. I'm not sure how long they'll last - the focus wheel doesn't seem very sturdy, but I don't think he cares if he can really see through them. They're perfect for play.
