The right bag for sprouting.
The Sproutman's Hemp Sprout Bag is hands down everything that the description in the Sproutman's book said it would be. I thought the bags weren't big enough for what I needed but I have had nothing but success with them. The bags expand as the sprouts grow. I yield 2.5lbs. of radish sprouts from each bag. I am able to share sprouts with my family and friends. These bags are well sewn and they come with care instructions. I love them and will be putting them in gift pkgs.

I've either used or seen used by friends/family about every way there is to sprout seeds. This is the most straight forward way I've found. Meets about every common (or strange) theory of how to sprout seeds. It really is a fool proof way to sprout. Rinse 'em, bag'em, hang'em, rinse twice a day. Makes mounds of sprouts. Just don't put too many seeds in. Even if you do this the first time, you'll still get sprouts, and learn your lesson. It's so easy . . . Well, you know the rest. If you're a beginner, or seasoned vet at this, these are a great purchase.

Didn't Provide Seeds with Weight
I'm a big supporter of small business, but unfortunately this did not meet expectations. The bags weren't dark enough to shield the sprouts from light, so I had to find a dark place to hide the dripping bags (not easy to find). Once I found a dark place and had a new batch of seeds in, they did sprout, but by day 5 after continual rinsing as instructed, only half of them were ready to eat (over-ready really) while the other half were just starting to sprout (first photo). Meanwhile within 3 days I had a tray setup that had weights on top with thick and tall sprouts (the tray in the second and last photo).Even though the work ends up being the same taking care of the bags, I wanted to like the approach, but it ultimately just didn't work. The inability to easily give the seeds weight to grow against and the fact that they are all on top of each other means that the bag approach can't compete with a traditional tray system.

Easy and Productive
Great. Bought 4 bags and use constantly. Easier than jars or prior sprouting trays I had. Grows LOTS. Bought my sister a set too.Easy

Great way to sprout
This seems like the perfect way to sprout. I feel like this is much more sanitary (less chance for mold and bacteria) than using a Mason jar. They seem a bit pricey given they are just hemp bags, but I guess you are paying for the idea. I suppose if you are really put off by the price, some mesh reusable produce bags would also work.
