Effective and Firm Foam Roller
The RumbleRoller is an excellent tool for muscle recovery. Its extra firm texture provides deep tissue manipulation similar to a massage therapist. The mid-size is perfect for targeting sore areas, and it’s great for relieving muscle tension. Highly effective!

No Substitute - Best Rollers Ever - Been using mine for 5 years
We have owned the blue and black 22 inch - I only use the black and so does my son. My daughter uses the blue. There is NO substitute - nothing other a personal masseuse can do what this roller does. I've owned the Triggerpoint (does nothing for us) and several others and my gym has all the brands. Rumbleroller has no peer. There are videos comparing rollers and the RumbleRoller always wins.

Satan's Back roller
Yes you heard me right! This roller is not for the faint of heart... It is intense... It can be painful... But it is effective and honestly feels really good. I would call it an advanced roller. It is quite firm and digs into the muscle quite well.Great alternative to frequent costly deep tissue massage appointments.I have plenty of adhesions and knots from 12 years of bodybuilding. It does bruise me when I focus on one spot too long.Go slow and embrace the pain.Purchased the midsize because I full-time RV. So it's a great length to roll in my kitchen/living room. It's wide enough for me to work my upper back (being 5'3 wearing size small).

I’m frugal
I saw this torture device on a VERY detailed reddit post about chronic muscle tension. The poor guy struggled with horrific tension in his muscles in about 70% of his body, had tried doctors galore, yoga, supplements, weed, rx, EVERYTHING he could throw his silicone valley tech salary at (so, a lot). The hardest Rumble Roller (black) was one of about 4 things he said DID help relieve this tension. At $65 for a friggin roller, i was SKEPTICAL and horrified, but ultimately gave it a go and wow. Sincerely, this thing is wildly affective. It’s like having a mass of painful elbow jabs climbing your back. For the first time in YEARS, I’ve heard my cement-hardened spine bend and crack against the knobs. I only roll and then lay on this beast for a few minutes and it helps. Like 3 min of torture helps me to not shuffle like Mick Mars from room to room. My 4 herniations, RA, and rock hard muscle tension are NOT cured but this without a doubt DOES help matters. My BIL is a personal trainer and owns both the black and blue (less traumatic, but not what my beastly muscles deserve) to use to break up lactic acid after weight sessions. Lastly, the reddit guy mentioned even investing in the travel size so he can roll when he’s on business trips— while i rolled my eyes initially, i totally get it now and there’s a possibility i’ll do the same.Pro-tip: too painful? Wear a hoodie and add a thick yoga mat or blanket under the roller to add some padding until you can work up to POW mental strength to endure this thing. The pain is GLORIOUS but one may need to work up to embracing it.

Too hard for me
Definitely extra firm. It's your not use to, better to get the regular foam, blue one. The black hurt my skin more than muscle so I couldn't get used to it. Sturdy, perfect size for back and legs.

Great for thick muscular guys looking for more deep muscle stimulation.
This will get in deeper than the other surfaces used in different model Rumble rollers. It's especially better for us big thick muscular guys trying to get in deep into the muscles. The other ones just flatten out and you don't feel the bumps. With this one you can feel them working properly by getting deep into your muscles.

Could turn Ronnie Coleman into 285lbs of hamburger meat
Wow. Its like rolling around on a dirt bike tire. It is so hard, and so uncomfortable - but no matter how big, sore, or tense your muscles are, this will loosen them up. After a week of using this (on and off), I added roughly 1 1/4 inches to my latissimus dorsi , just from relieving the tension I was carrying around. It got rid of the pain and tension in my cervical spine area, which I found out was a result of my lat tension. I am 5'11" 205 lbs w/ 12% body fat, I have tatoos under my arm pit and on my sternum, I break a finger every other year playing sports since I was 13 years old. I can handle pain (or so I like to think)I laid on my side with this thing, doing as the instructions advise with minimal movement, really focusing on working it in deep. I had tears streaming down my face. Not from sadness, not really even from pain - it was as if every nerve was screaming until it was out of breath...and then it finally relaxed. If you are thicc and trunky like me, everything else is a joke. This is the only roller that works.
