Surprisingly good
I'd seen a lot of people talk about how much work they had to do these machines to make them reliable. Out of the box it worked pretty well. The only adjustment I had to make was to the wedge that the original key rides on. I moved it back by maybe 1/16th of an inch. After that this thing made perfect keys. I've used it to copy Kwikset style keys for my home and work, and to copy keys for my F150. Cutting two truck keys covered the cost of the machine - since the old hardware store closed no one will cut keys for my vehicle now, other than a local dealer wanting $150 a key.One complaint, but I won't knock a star for it. I ordered the 120w version. Comparing prices to other sellers on Amazon, I think the seller mixed up pricing between the 100w and 120w versions. I ended up receiving a 100w version despite this. I decided not to sweat it, I'm not sure how an extra 20 watts would make a difference. The wheel cuts the keys just fine, and the automatic movement on the slide has no issues either. I'd say that the 100w version is probably the sweet spot if you're getting one of these to save money rather than use it as an investment for business purposes.

Easy to use, wish the motor had a little more power
If I am not very careful when performing any deeper cuts on key blanks, the motor will stop as it is very low horsepower. Additionally, the wheel for cleaning up the keys cut edges has damaged keys made with softer metal so I now test it on a test key to see if it's safe to use with any new blanks I cut.The good side of this tool is it is very affordable and will cut any key blank I need. I have cut multiple car keys and several KW1, a few SC1's, and others.

Never got to try it. Poor assembly. Complete failure.
I bought this so that my dad could make copies of house keys for his rental properties. He is an experienced key cutter. He has used much more industrial ones at his previous employment that are not shaped/designed like this one. However, he wanted an inexpensive one for himself so he could save money by cutting keys with his own blanks. We were a tad bit weary and skeptical of this item based on previous comments but we were optimistic and purchased the 110 W.It came well packaged with just one tool, an allen wrench (that I never used), and an instructional manual. I included pics for reference. Here's the thing... We never even powered it on to use it! Here are the issues we came across:1) Instruction manual (in English) was provided but not only did it have countless spelling/grammatical errors, but the explanations and descriptions were impossible to follow. English is my first language. I went to an Ivy-League institution. I can read complex things but this, my friend, was oddly written. It's clear they didn't even bother using spell check. This must be a joke! I tried guessing what words they "meant" to say and I still struggled to comprehend. The labels on the diagram are atrocious. "8. Knife-rest?" It's not pointing to anything on the diagram! If the images were in color and better, it would've definitely helped.2) There's a metal piece that serves as an alignment indicator. Using this piece, it's clearly obvious that the keys are not aligned well. When I lifted this alignment lever, you'll see that it hits the shoulder of the blank key but doesn't come anywhere near the shoulder of the original key (see pics with yellow squares). The latter is just up in the air.3) When the original key and the blank key are in their respective "base" locations, it's clearly obvious that the milling cutter will not reach the blank to cut it. Look at the pictures to see the spacing (see pic with red boxes/arrow). You can see how the guide needle is hitting the original key and yet the blank key is so far from the milling cutter. No wonder a comment said s/he had to adjust parts for better alignment.4) No videos are posted on how to operate this equipment. I looked at youtube and didn't find any for this 110 W equipment. A reviewer stated that someone sent them a video of how to use it AFTER they complained that the equipment wasn't working properly. Why then??5) All the pictures in the description are of the 120 W equipment. You would think because they are also selling a 110 W version that has a different body they would have posted detailed photos of every part/component too but NOPE.6) Thanks to #5, we weren't aware that the 110 W version doesn't come with a nylon brush to clean up the key. Granted, we were never able to even try to make a key but I just wanted to bring this point up.Overall: There is literally no way to move the fixtures to get them closer to the center of stage (so that the blank can reach the milling blade). My dad said the item should be ready to use as-is. We shouldn't have to manipulate the equipment and make permanent adjustments to get it to be properly assembled. It should be assembled well from the jump.I have NO idea if this is a defective item.. Maybe we got a used one. Or maybe this is the same kind everyone else has been "adjusting." I don't know.

Not an engineer, locksmith or tradesman
The first thing to know it that this comes from someone who is not a locksmith or engineer. Ace Hardware wanted to charge $80 for a car keys blank when they can be fund on Amazon for $10. They state it their policy to use their blank so they can guarantee the key. (Pssst…what a hustle) The key will still require programming with additional equipment or a dealer after cutting. After this encounter with Ace, it quickly seemed like a good idea to learn how to do it myself. Especially since 2 copies were needed. Plus, another vehicle at home needed key duplication. After getting the cutter yesterday, I made quick adjustments to the motor alignment. The motor needed centered and aligned more horizontal to the fixture. The first key was a fail, I did not have it aligned correctly after turning it over. Once this lesson was learned and a key wasted, the next was a success. The machine is kind of clunky and the intermittent switch will get replaces with an on/off switch very soon. An auto feed feature would be helpful and would make the cuts cleaner but I’m thrilled to have learned how to do this. It will also come in handy with our rentals.

Required adjusting by trial an error.
The machine didn’t have very clear instructions. It required tweaking to get it to work. It went through several blanks before getting it dialed in. The vender will answer emails and send links to videos but they were reluctant to do a return.
