Amazon Basics Wooden Toy Box, Grey, 76.2 x 45.7 x 48.3 cm

This is surprisingly good value for quite a low price. It feels quite sturdy and looks great. Fairly easy to put together (we used a battery operated screwdriver), holds all my granddaughter’s toys and could even be used as a seat for a child. Nice soft close lid mechanism. Love it.

Brought for a toy box for the living room and it looks really good. Was easy to put together only took one person and my kids love to sit on it and read so it very sturdy. The best feature is the slow close lid so we don’t have to worry about fingers getting trapped or heads getting bumped when looking for toys.

I recently bought my second grey Amazon basics toy box as I was so impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the first. It’s flat packed, but very easy to put together (coming from someone that isn’t always the best at flat pack) it only took me around 15 minutes, if that. It’s a very good size, and fits plenty of toys in. We now have one in our son’s bedroom and one in the living room. It’s safe enough for my son to use on his own, the mechanism does allow it to fall or slam shut, the edge that the lid sits on is scalloped to avoid trapped fingers. A must have for hiding chaos!

In the end we are happy with the toy box as it matches the description and is reasonably priced. However when assembling the box, we found that the screws provided were flat ended and it was not possible to screw into the holes (which were smaller in size than the screws). In the end we replaced the screws provided with our own ones and with those we were able to assemble the box. That would be my main gripe.

Perfect storage solution for the little ones toys. Easy to build and feels really sturdy (even when the little one decides to climb on it) plenty of storage space for kids toys. It looks quite plain which I actually preferred as the little one decorated hers with stickers. Overall good value and very useful

I thought it was a bit bigger but it was very easy to assemble and it feels pretty solid. The hinges also seem to do a good job keeping the lid open and the design minimizes the chance of the kids squeezing their fingers. If it falls apart prematurely I will surely be back to update my review as longevity has not yet been tested. It also would look great with wall decals as it has a plain canvas to work on. Update: The hinge design is a bit intrusive which takes away from useable space. They can be removed but then they will be slammed shut and risk pinching the kids fingers at one of the very few points where that is possible due to the thoughtful design addressing kids pinching their fingers.

I absolutely love this toy storage bench! I needed something that would fit inside my toddler’s room without taking up too much space, and this fits perfectly under the hanging clothes. The size is ideal! roomy enough to hold a good amount of toys, but compact enough for smaller rooms. It keeps everything organized without looking bulky. The neutral color blends beautifully with our nursery decor. The lid opens smoothly and stays up on its own, which makes it easy (and safer) for little ones. I also love that it doubles as a bench , sturdy enough to sit on. Assembly was straightforward and the quality feels solid for the price. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, functional, and aesthetically pleasing toy storage solution!
