Amazingly cheap consumer unit, but with build quality to match. The RCD and MCBs are flimsy & low quality and I decided it was safer to just use the ones from my old CU. It doesn't come with a bus bar for the live side of the MCBs - I purchased another one (link below) as there was barely room to create a loop, and it doesn't come with a connection from the RCD to the neutral bar (I used a length of spare 10mm).Not tons of space for tables with the unit fully populated so needed to trim the cables to lose any slack (I have a mix of 1.5, 2.5, 6, 10mm cable - may be less of an issue with smaller cable diameters). Quality could be better, but the price is how it's expected

It is potentially dangerous in that the customer has to create their own live busbar by looping in and out of the live side of each RCBO. Therefore this cable has to be sized suitable to take full load current of the unit. Would your average man on the street know this and therefore know what size cable to use to create this 'busbar'?Also this loop in/out busbar takes up all the room under the cable entry points at the top of the unit leaving very little room to work with the four circuit's cables. Flimsy construction, would not recommend.

This compact consumer unit is small enough to fit where others can’t fit. The plastic seems tough.
