I got this to go with a custom keyboard that I built for a friend’s birthday. She loved it, it worked perfectly, quality materials, nice looking and a great value at this price.

I needed to replace a cracking cable on a vintage computer keyboard. This fit the bill perfectly. I ended up chopping it up to use different cable ends, but it's great that there was something out there I could use. The quality of the cable is very good. The rubber is very stout and feels like it will easily last years. The conductors inside are individually insulated. High quality.

Only let down is the rotary connector is kinda rough and a little hard to pull apart. Other than that brings my whole desk setup together.

I set my expectations low and I was happily surprised. Is not sleeved but the cable feels quality and powers my blackwidow Ultimate v3 wireless no problem. The coil is nice and flat and has kept its shape.

The main reason why I see people get these aviator style cables is because they like to swap out keyboards frequently (ex. Gaming KB/Typing KB) and/or just want an aesthetically pleasing addition to their setup for a relatively low price. In my case it's both.As far as function goes, not having to hold the wire in place while trying to switch out keyboards every time is a nice quality of life change for sure. This cable allows for a bit quicker detachment and reattachment than a standard USB-C cable because it rests on your desk. (+the whole process is a bit more painless ex. reaching for cables behind desk etc.)As far as form goes, the cable doesn't look bad, I just wish it was braided. Sort of looks like a rolled up phone charger without the braiding. Doesn't actually take away from the function, obviously this cord won't fray or really be bent at any obscure angles, I just like the way braided cables look a lot more.
