This has been great for scanning serial number and MAC address bar codes in our system for business applications. I love that it's rechargeable and it seems to have decent range for our needs. I've purchased two of them and they're still going strong after a year or two. If there's a con, they can become a little sluggish when the battery gets down a bit.

To set this product up, you need to scan bar codes in the manual. I have had a scanner similar to this before and it should be straight forward. During a setup, This scanner would give three error beeps on every code in the manual. I contacted the Chinese factory on What’s app and what did they do? They sent me the bar codes in the manual to scan! They then sent a QR code to scan for factory reset and that worked. Sent some other style of bar codes and they worked. But any time they sent me the type of bar codes in the manual they failed with 3 beeps. After an hour and a half of that I was done.

Scanner arrived and went stray to work. Easy set up to start. Worked well in warehouse I bought a second one.

Pros: - remembers device and connects automatically - fast scanning speed - accurate scans Cons: - I wish there was a dedicated button for a keyboard wedge function when paired with iOS 5 seconds of holding a button works but it’s very inconvenient - battery life could be better but it’s not bad - Needs BLE as that would make it faster and lower power

I bought an older model of this and it worked great but one drop and the button to turn it on and off broke. I'll try to fix it by opening it up and maybe replace the button or secure with glue but I notice the piece that would turn it on had completely broken off from the inside. It was just a little plastic piece held on by a little bit of solder. So I bought the newer one and it came in with a broken button. This is one of the best scanners I work with but one of the easiest on to break. Not worth the price. I hope they fix the button issue someday. Would buy again if they do

Initially it Worked great even on hard to read barcodes. Easy set up. After 3mnths of purchase it no longer comes on ,even after trouble shooting.

Escaner lector de codigos de barras de tamaño muy compacto y facil de usar, ya que es totalmente inalambrico y no se necesita tener un cable conectado directamente a un PC como ocurre con otros modelos, ya que éste a diferencia de otros, es totalmente compatible con 3 modos de conexion. El primero es mediante un cable USB como la mayoria. Despues tenemos el modo de conexion inalambrica bluetooth que es compatible con ordenadores, moviles Android o iPhone, o tablets. Y por ultimo esta el modo inalámbrico para PC que es conectando un pequeño dongle a un puerto del PC como se hace con muchos ratones o teclados y a traves de radiofrecuencia a 2,4Ghz, transmite al ordenador de manera inalambrica e incluso mas rapida que la conexion bluetooth, por lo que es mejor opcion aun si lo vamos a conectar a un PC. En cuanto a su funcionamiento es muy sencillo, trae 2 botones en el lateral, uno de ellos es para encender y apagar y el otro es para activar el lector igual que lo haria el tercer boton que esta en la parte de arriba. Normalmente hay que dejar pulsado el boton para hacer la lectura, aunque esto se puede modificar leyendo un codigo de barras que te trae en el manual para ponerlo en modo de escaneo continuo y de esta manera no hay que estar dejando pulsado dicho boton. En el manual nos vienen otros muchos codigos de barras para ajustar las opciones del codigo de barras, tales como el tiempo de apagado automatico, lectura continua.....etc Con los códigos de barras que he creado de prueba, los ha reconocido a la primera y sin problema alguno, por lo que su funcionamiento es correcto tal y como se anuncia. Unido a su tamaño y que viene con un enganche para tenerlo en el cinturon del pantalon y poderlo usar a diario de manera cómoda, me parece una solucion muy buena para agregarlo a un negocio que necesite algo asi para usarlo a diario.
