Easy to work with MUST THIN
Easy to work with MUST THIN for best results, especially when painting vertical surfaces vs flat. We “rolled and tipped” small 2’x4’ areas. When trying to attempt more it was too much to manage and I had to return to sand and correct. We painted above water line on old crabin’ Carolina Skiff 16 and it was a magical transformation in comparison.Prepped with 4 different grades sand paper 80 down to 220 which was very adequate.Patched several holes with interlux products and you’d never know they existed after 2 coats of this higher gloss finish-gelcoat like paint. Very very nice.Aqua mist color very soft and just right (closer to white than green).

1 year looks good.
For inexpensive paint, it's pretty good. I thinned %10 with thinner. Rolled with foam rollers and it laid out flat, looks very good, pro even on fiberglass. Took a few weeks to fully cure as it was soft enough to scratch from a fuel tank at first, but it hardened up.

Paint does not dry. It’s a nightmare.
Applied / sitting to dry in a heated space at 68 degrees. Thinned to 10% with 100 thinner. Tried spraying and rolling. Still tacky after 3 days.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Was a little hard to apply but the result was great to cool down my Alumna craft boat.

Don’t over work the tipping let it go.
I was reluctant about how this would turn out doing the roll and tip method. I usually spray everything but after I tried it I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This paint leveled it self out and looked a slick as a mirror buy the time I painted all the way around the hull.

Durable but long dry time
Good paint, drys nice seems durable. Only gripe is it goes on thick a d takes 3 to 5 days to dry and you need 2 to 3 coats so it takes weeks. Or put it on thin and it takes a day or 2 to dry but you need 5 coats which takes weeks. Besides that it's great. Just plan ahead before painting. Spraying it would make a more even sheen, rolling and brushing will leave discrepancies in the sheen. Overall it's good paint drys very hard a d durable.

Disappointing
I bought this topside paint for a wooden boat I am building. The color on the Amazon page appeared to be a light mint green, but when I opened it, the color is a light blue. Amazon would not let me return it because of the chemical makeup. I applied the paint with a 1/8” nap roller and tipped with a brush. The weather was perfect, in the high 70’s and I applied it over a light coat of total boat primer. It’s been 2 days and the paint is still sticky. The instructions said it could be thinned 5%, but did not say it HAD to be thinned. I will wait another week, then maybe I can sand and apply another coat. I guess I will have to buy some of their special thinner as well. I will not buy from total boat again. In fact, I bought some topside paint from Kirby for the final coat.

frames are beautiful, paint flowed excellent
Well, I first tried rolling and tipping, applied too thick, dry time was 2 days and bugs stuck!! Bought a Purple 15 dollar Harbor Freight paint gun, sprayed 3 coats, frames are beautiful, paint flowed excellent, its glossy before ive buffed.
