Much better than the cheapo ones, huge difference. Great product
This is not one of those cheapo flimsy ones.its much stronger and really well made without flaw. It arrived fully charged. No strange smells or noises. Doesn't creak in the hand. Works extremely well every time. Kills with a crack every time. Kills a instantly, no fry and fly away, this is a powerful tool. It's quite big, long thick handle and a large head. The zapping wires are thick and substantial, not the thin flimsy ones makes the kill instant and as humane as possible, even with a wasp. Not had to recharge it yet so no idea how long the charge time is or how long it lasts. If there was a professional electrical fly swatter then this is it, it's extremely well made and works with power and speed.Incredible value for money as it is so well made and works really well.100% I recommend this.

The Grim Reaper for flies and other flying insects!
Bought this for my wife as a birthday present...yes, you read correctly...a BIRTHDAY present. As per usual, it arrived in next to no time from Amazon - well packaged and in one piece. My wife took it out of its box, charged it up via the USB-C connector and within minutes, she was a killer! Her first 'kill' came with a loud 'crack' and accompanying flash of light. It was at this point my wife exclaimed, 'Best birthday present, EVER!"She then went on to continue her 'kill streak', zapping a further 8 or so flies of varying sizes, all of them meeting a similar fate. It should be noted, not all flies die with the first hit. Depending where they hit on the sturdy wire frame then sometimes they are just stunned. This is really no big problem, however, as you simply place the device over them on the floor, window ledge - wherever they fell, stunned - and as soon as they regain consciousness they fly right back into device...to their doom!My wife now actively hunts down flying insects around the house...looking forward to her 'prey' entering our home whereby she can then (presumably) vent her frustrations on the unsuspecting invertebrates. She's stated that she finds the whole process "so satisfying". Okay, there is a slight smell of chargrilled insect from time to time, but it quickly dissipates...and is a whole heap better than having the pests buzzing round the centre of the room (often near the light, which isn't even switched on...why do they do that?), landing on food, sucking up what they can, mixing it with their saliva before regurgitating the contents back on the food before hoovering the remains up. This is after their last meal possibly being faeces of some sort...they don't even wipe their feet before entering your home...the dirty bar stewards! In summary, the swatter is well made, quick to charge, easy to maintain - the grill seems to 'self-clean' through the high voltage output vaporising insect debris. Also, its square shaped head mounted at an angle means my wife can corner insects much more easily against windows, doors, blinds and the like. And yes, I also tried sticking my hand on it and electrocuting myself - I'm a bloke, after all - and all I can say is it was about as powerful as an electric fence farmers use for keeping horses in (yes, which I've also tried on many occasions for a 'dare'...I've not quite grown out of this masochistic habit!). I certainly wouldn't try this if you're wearing a heart pacemaker! So, there you have it...you or your loved ones can have hours of genocidal 'fun', ridding your home of unwanted guests in the process...ENJOY!!

Not perfect but not bad
I’ve only had this Mafiti fly swatter for a day and used it immediately as I’d been invaded by house flies. Fly swatting isn’t as easy as I thought. The fan catches some but also blows away others. I still killed as many by squashing them against a window. However, there is a sadistic thrill to the flash and crackle when it does catch them.Overall I’m happy with it and my fly problem is gone!

Solid handle
We had a tennis racket style before and it snapped just below the head. This one has a very solid frame and I feel no amount of swatting is going to snap it as it is all in one piece. The only thing I would say is the previous one had the electric zapper wires enclosed in an open cage so unless you purposely went poking your fingers through you weren’t going to accidentally zap yourself or someone else. This one is bare and entirely open with the zappy wires totally exposed. It does a really good job. Am happy with it and would buy again.

Amazing - works on fruit flies - as other reviews say, with a Bang!
I've use a couple of other electric fly swatters, neither of them were anything like this one. They struggled with fruit flies, and when they did get one, often they wouldn't manage to kill it.This thing catches them with almost every single pass - and when it does, it vaporises them with a loud crack and a bright flash. It's almost hard to believe how much more effective it is than the others I've used. It also comes in a nice box and packaging - and it feels solid and well made. Yet it cost the same as the other cheap and flimsy electric fly swatters I've had. Like I say, the difference is huge - this thing rocks!

Brilliant, but badly shaped!
It’s a brilliant tool when your actually get the fly! The shape of the racket part is pinto at the sides making it hard to swat close to my new kitchen units! Either that or the flies I get are Bruce Lee wannabes as they easily dodge the racket altogether. But…. When you get the buggers!! Brilliant snap crackle and pop!

This product works really well, a must for anyone who hates fly's and fun for the kids.

Kills flies and is rechargeable
During warm weather we live with windows and doors open for the though draught, which of course does allow flies and things to whizz around. A previous fly zapper stopped working and this was the replacement. It seemed to be a good design and not too gaudy, and the fact that it is rechargeable was the deciding factor. I keep it on a hook in the utility room and by the time my husband has retrieved it the fly has disappeared. My husband tends to leave it on a table or somewhere and or course I then hang it up again...My husband has been watching Wimbledon, and seems to be copying a backhand swing with limited success, but it does work. Good weapon but needs a skilled player!
